i read a couple of months ago that when someone bought an elite that was black it was a falcon unit. even the ones that came with halo 3 and fable 3 were falcons. the only elite jasper was the re5 one..... but this was a couple months ago, it could have changed now

but its no big deal if it isn;t a jasper...i have a falcon from a couple of years back that has survived being on for more than 24 hours (by accident of course) and it hasn't experienced 3rl.
