Can someone clarify this... how to take care of a pregnant dog? Local forum and breeders say that pregnant dogs should not be exercised or any physical activities should be minimized during the duration of the pregnancy. But forum from the US says that pregnant dogs should be exercised during the first month and gradually decreased after. They say that dogs need these exercise in order to prepare them during whelping.
Which is the correct practice?
para nako they dont exercise their pregnant dogs kay paniguro na lng ^^ cuz missing 2 months of longwalks or jogs wouldnt hurt. so as a responsible breeder. i would suggest that before pa cya ge stud and mated. u do exercise her na .. personal experience sad. wa man ga lisud ako dog nag give birth. peru as wat ive said prior nag ge pa breed ko niya. shes in excellent condition na.
i walk my expecting dog only on her 2nd month, within which i presume nga lig-on na kapit sa mga fetus sa iya uterus, thats if mabdos siya... exercise is needed gyud to prevent lazy uterus, thats as per pod kang doc ging ng animal kingdom.
