Sometimes the two are about the same, as in the case of abortifacient contraceptives.

There are such things as ABORTIFACIENT CONTRACEPTIVES. Did you check out the links provided earlier? I think there is ample evidence of such.

    Also, see:

Postfertilization Effects of Oral Contraceptives and Their Relationship to Informed Consent
    (http://archfami.ama-assn.org/cgi/content/full/9/2/126)

“It seems likely that for perfect use of COCs, postfertilization mechanisms would be likely to have a small but not negligible role. For POPs, COCs with lower doses of estrogen, and imperfect use of any OCs, postfertilization effects are likely to have an increased role. In any case, the medical literature does not support the hypothesis that postfertilization effects of OCs do not exist.

The Physicians' Prescribing information for Yaz and Yasmin, two oral contraceptives, states:

Combination oral contraceptives (COCs) act by suppression of gonadotropins.
Although the primary mechanism of this action is inhibition of ovulation,
other alterations include changes in the cervical mucus (which increases the
difficulty of sperm entry into the uterus) and the endometrium (which reduces
    the likelihood of implantation).

    Sources: http://berlex.bayerhealthcare.com/ht.../Yasmin_PI.pdf and http://www.berlex.com/html/products/pi/fhc/YAZ_PI.pdf

Hope you'll keep an open mind about the evidence. Thanks!

sayz who that our Consti does not agree to US and British laws? mga pari?

ako naman ni gibalik balik ui: Ang atong Consti wala lage ga specify asa mag sugod ang kinabuhi sa tawo. mao btaw gipa vague lang nila by saying "moment of conception". ky otherwise gipabutang nlng unta dha in black ink ug "moment of fertilization"... unya ang Commissioners lage ang dili mag determine asa ang beginning of conception, even if they assumed it. It is the Supreme Court.

again, citing irrelevance is nothing more than lying thru omission. and saying about colonial mentality cannot help either. just shows arrogance and how u discriminate people. u my already be forgetting that our Consti is patterned after America.

Sez the Constitution itself and the Constitutional Commission that drafted our Constitution

unya ang Commissioners lage ang dili mag determine asa ang beginning of conception, even if they assumed it. It is the Supreme Court.
You keep conveniently omitting that the primary consideration that the Supreme Court will follow is the intent of the Constitutional Commission. And the Commission clearly voted to ASSUME that life begins at fertilization.

That is what the Commission intended the Constitution to do: protect life from fertilization.

In any case, if we follow your logic, then no one can discuss whether anything is constitutional or not unless the Supreme Court has already decided. That is an underhanded tactic to keep people from discussing the issues. Why are you so afraid of letting people discuss the issue? Apparently you don't want people to really see how this bill will violate the Constitution and our civil rights.

But people already know the bill proposed bill is unconstitutional and they will continue to discuss and point out this fact. Your deception has again been exposed.
