Arnel, I haven't seen your work. But I honestly believe in you...
What I need to know is if you can work as a lackey when come the time when other directors will seek your aid. hehehe. Meaning: get it done even if it can't be done.

My point is I think Cebu is not ready for such a thing!
TiDo: you see TV and films are quite different in terms of freedom. in a lot of ways, TV has more restrictions than film. Why did the viewer see that scene? and why did he/she react immediately to this? simply because it was on TV, the viewer did not have a choice.
In movies, viewers have the freedom to choose, since they are immediately informed on what kind of movie they are about to see. They may choose to see the movie or not. Which is why film has more "freedom" so to speak.
Is Cebu ready for "pink" films?
Who are we to judge when this hasn't even been tried yet?
But the growing social acceptance of gays and lesbians in our community certainly makes me believe that Cebuanos are ready.
Wala ra man nang 1 frame. David Fincher, a music video turned movie director had a subliminal flash of the male member on his 1999 movie FIGHT CLUB. Probably just a frame as well.... he does the same thing in his 1995 film called SE7EN (a subliminal flash of Gwyneth Palthrow's head), with Brad Pitt as well.

But I just wonder if Star Movies censored it from Fight Club.
If I am not mistaken, the country is Australia: an advertisement, very graphic in nature shows an animated male member dancing around the groin. It's close up. And it's almost the character, the star of the ad.TiDo: you see TV and films are quite different in terms of freedom. in a lot of ways, TV has more restrictions than film. Pero naa man ta's Pinas.... so I agree, simply because it was shown to us in class to expose us to different kinds of commercials, it wasn't our fault we saw it.
Unfair lang wa gipakita ang lagay ni Helena Bonham Carter sa Fight Club. Upper nudity ra nu-on but that was on 3D and it wasn't just single frame.
i seriously doubt that the butt flash was just 1 frame. 1 frame is just too fast for anyone to react so zealously as the one who texted sunstar.
