Fishing used to be my hobby before.
I remember going out and spending hours on end and could not catch any fish.
There are days were i would go fishing and not getting any catch at all. Still and all i was patient and continued with my hobby.
I learned that as long as you are patient, somehow there will be a catch an hour if not a day later. There are days when schools of fish are just there for the taking. I also learned that changing baits affects the catch too.
These has been a long time ago and now it no longer is my hobby. But this brings back memories and when i read along the various posts on this thread and come across the word fishing, it brings back that memory. Sorry i just got carried away.

The prosecution was sort of "fishing" on this trial. But their patience paid off in the end. They changed bait, "OMB" and the defense took it. I think that was the beginning of the end. The more so when corona personally stand in court and delivered everything to the prosecution.

If the defense will not do a direct exam, the prosecution panel will not do a cross exam. The corona 3-hour testimony stays on record!!! It is important that it will stay on record and not be stricken off record.

Perhaps these are the comedy of errors that is the reason why the defense seems to be in disarray based on the various news reports that came out starting yesterday. Cuevas doesn't want to take the bait, but the others wanted it. I don't want to think that the "walk-out drama" is another one that Cuevas is not aware of also. And those are grounds for impeachment? hehehe JPE had a piece of it already. culpable violation of the Constitution covers treason, bribery, graft and corrupt and other high crimes only. If ordinary government employees can get away from incomplete SALN and in fact given a chance to correct it.. why shouldn't we extend that privileges to the Judiciary? Impeachment proceeding is akin to criminal case. The CJ must be judge beyond reasonable doubt mr. neophyte lawyer hehehe.

I hope it would help you understand. and where did you get the idea that a guilty verdict beyond reasonable doubt is needed for an impeachment proceeding? i would agree that it is akin to a criminal case but NOT REALLY A CRIMINAL CASE.
