I think all I'm saying is that the existence of objective moral values and duties gives us hints that God exists. If there is an objective basis for all our moral acts, that basis must be perfect since it's the standard for what's good and right. That basis can't be merely an abstract idea because then it wouldn't have the capacity to oblige us to do good and avoid evil. So it's plausible that this basis is not a thing but a person. Also, one of the definitions of God is that He is the greatest conceivable Being, so He, if the conception is true, must possess attributes that are perfect. Objective moral values and duties points to the existence of goodness and rightness, and these two are reflections of God's character.
