payter bosconian ni hehehe
A LOT of former PBA players will see action for the different teams of Liga Pilipinas starting May 23. 2008.
Each team is allowed a maximum of two ex-PBA players on its 14-man roster. However, if the ex-pro will play for his hometown, he will not be counted as an ex-pro.
Take for example Cebu's M. Lhuillier which has homegrown ex-pros Stephen Padilla (Alaska, Air 21), Bruce Dacia (Air 21) and Danny Aying (Ginebra). The team's two ex-pros are Marlon Basco (Ginebra) and Ronald Capati (Coca-Cola), both Luzon-bred players. Therefore, the team may still sign up more PBA veterans but they have to be Cebuanos.
The M. Lhuillier coaching staff also has former PBA players Lawrence Merced (Great Taste), Alfredo Enriquez (Seven-Up), Jay Ramirez (Shell) and Lou Regidor (San Miguel) as assistant coaches.
I believe Bruce Dacia is not technically from Cebu, he just played for UV collegiately for the defunct CAAA w/ Stephen Padilla...
O murag taga Cotabato man na si Dacia..
mang gawas na pod diay ning mga ex-pro inig start sa Liga Pilipinas...
hope mo-excel pod ang mga new talents especially katong wla pa kaau nato nailhan..
