This is one hell of a thread! I have found out a lot of interesting things and it made me laugh.

To all the american haters... I have enjoyed all your views... what bothers me though is how a person that hates a country so much is using am avatar of that of a famous american series, using a computer with an operating system developed by the so-called bullies and enjoying this forum through the connection which was initially discovered by the military operation of this arrogant people.

I know that there a lot of things that we do not agree from them but let us face it, we need them for NOW until the day we can have the thing we call our own... This is not called being brainwashed.. this is called planning.

To people saying OFW are slaves, I pity you. you may think that you are tough and smart enough but i think otherwise. It is good to have a sense of pride and being nationalistic but please do not make it an excuse to dwell on a sad reality.

With regards to N.Korea, I know they have their own issues. developing a missile to have a range that can reach an alleged enemy's territory cannot be used for defense. I think defense is to protect what is inside from an outside element trying to come in and not to destroy something outside.

This is just my opinion and hope everyone here is happy. hehehe.

To dudoy: I HAVEN'T enjoyed all of the anti-American comments posted on this thread. To read so many angry sentiments from people who owe so much to the USA makes my stomach turn. You use the term "arrogant" to describe Americans, and I am curious to know about experience in the USA. You've spent some time there and gotten to know the people? How can you so broadly categorize such a large group of people, many of whom are immigrants? Are there no "arrogant" Filipinos? Are the North Koreans arrogant? When does Filipino nationalism cross the line into "arrogance"? The No. Korean government is being defiant in the face of the international community with regards to their nuke program. The launch was in violation of an internationally recognized set of protocols, and that is the topic here. Not all of the anti-US rhetoric or the issue with how Filipino OFWs are viewed. And by the way, your comment "we need them (the USA) NOW until the day we have... our own" smacks of the "fair-weather friendship" reputation the RP is known for. It's not a reputation to be be proud of...
