Yeah Guthrie Govan bisan asa ibutang.. i think the question sa TS is like you're asking who's the best painter in the world? You cannot compare Da Vinci's "Mona Lisa" with Picasso's "Guernica" nor Salvador Dali's melting clock.

Maybe the question should be on Who's the most emulated guitarist in the world/of all time? If we're talking about the 20th century, it's hard not to play lead guitar without Jimi Hendrix. Someone told me BB King barely strum a chord pero diha naka patyon sa vibrato IMO. I read during the early days of pre-rock n roll era, standard guitar string gauges were around at least gauge 11-12! punish! so if it were true, guitarheads that time developed finger/wrist strength rather than speed until metalheads of the 70s thru 80s(nagkagamay sad ang string gauges). Maybe hendrix used around gauge 10-11s

In my opinion, it could probably be drug use that influence their musical style/synergy. Downers i.e. heroin, marijuana. LSD etc. had something to do with the vibe of the 60s rythm and beat. When cocaine was widely used by the 70s, so was the hyperactive shredding all the way through the last fret and diha na nisamot sa 80s. Its just a thought. Does that make sense? Nah i'm just sayin'
