dont like the spurs..... period. never liked their brand of play bisag effective but if i were there watching live.. i will be pissed watching the spurs... my money will not be worth it. id rather watch exciting game bahalag pildi akong team basta nalingaw ko sako gibayad....

I must admit that D'Antoni has had success in PHX. And yes, a lot of people think his run and gun style is a lot of fun to watch. But here are some reasons why I think he's not really that great of a coach:

1. He never tried to develop his bench. Playing your starters 40+ mins a game on the regular season will burn them out.
2. He's not really good at making in-game adjustments
3. Offense is only half the game.
4. He really needs to preach mental toughness to his team. If you've watched some of his post game presscons, all he is whine on how the refs screwed them and how they were robbed. This habit usually goes down to the players.
5. I noticed in game 2, he only called a timeout when they were down 2. The spurs on the other hand called a timeout when they were up 13 and nash just drained a 3 pointer.

Not exciting? I don't get it. When does a team who executes last second plays to perfection not exciting to watch? When Finley makes a 3 to force OT. Then Duncan makes a 3 to force 2nd OT. How about Manu's leaning jumpshot for the win in just one game? When does a team which has two of the best finishers(Manu and TP) and one of the best PF to play the game not considered exciting? When does a team which makes perfect passes or sets bone crushing screens not exciting to watch?

Or is it because they have been so successfull for the past 10 years that it is not fun to watch them win anymore?

Well then again, it's a matter of personal preference.

I don't think so.. that san antonio team is a defense oriented team ...kung defensive pa cla na lubong taha nila ....team work ra tingali ....the way cla mo dula...
