The economic developments have more to do with our local businesses and industries than the politicians.
I don't think Tomas and Gwen deserve all the credit for what Cebu is now. Their constant infighting has caused deprivation of public services like closed roads, hospitals, blockage of real estate investments and seemingly bureaucratic red tape in our government from having to get SRP passes in City hall to waitlist for licenses, permits. Ask other entrepreneurs and they will tell you how difficult it is to do business with these two and their constant bickering.
If you believe that they have contributed much to Cebu, then imagine what they could have done if they just swallowed each others pride and worked together for Cebu. More things could have done and we would be better off than we are now. Cebu has a lot of potential for growth and these 2 idiots shouldn't be wasting their time bickering and instead work together to serve the people of Cebu.
putong diay ni ug ulo si miguel..baye pa gyud iya hulga-on.. ka maau pag ka liwat sa gi liwatan...
it is the citizens that move the city / province... ang government merely sets the framework for that to happen. Tomas and Gwen have hampered growth with their bickering.
It may be a case of timing for Tomas and Gwen since it's under their administration that Globalization has taken place in our country.
Ako lang point is... they need to stop fighting with each other... mas mu lambo pa ang Cebu if they help each other out.
