Do you know why POLICIES are MADE ? To control , manage and guide a subject of interest . If it gets out of hand , like the issue of NOKOR FANATICISM on NUKES ... its not about POLICIES anymore but the pressure of the neighboring nations and governing bodies because of FEAR . Fear of what ? COuld be ... it might get out of hand , readily available in the blackmarket in 3 to 5 years time at a generic Nuke price , or just plain fear of WAR .

Well ... now , to digest it ... how old are you ? Whatever it is .... do you still believe in NUKE WAR in this lifetime ? So the FEAR and PRESSURE would be about its MASS PRODUCTION if its successful ... you know why ? As to what a lot of BUMPER STICKERS you see here in the Philippines , DONT STEAL , the GOVERNMENT HATES COMPETTITION .
you're right and i agree with you on that. but i was referring to the pro-NOKOR pips' posts about "why US give a rat's ass about it when it was only a rocket launch, nothing more nothing less". bottomline is, yes, it may be fear of starting a war, but at the end of the day, it is all about Nokor racking up a bunch of violations. that's where the US and other allies should base their grounds upon.

I did not repeat what you said . I am making a point that nobody cares about your POINT . Its an old issue , even way before the NUKES of NOKOR , theyve been watched already like a hawk by the governing body that monitors nations who are capable of executing nasty things with hidden agenda's .
which is good. which is why i don't understand why some people in this thread make it sound like "WE MUST NOT CARE ABOUT NORTH KOREA'S AGENDAS."

    which is bullshit.

North Korea has the right to lunch the rocket since the purpose was to install their own satellite.

^^yep2..that is irrefragable...bisag pila pa na ka satellites...point is, they did it amidst international pressure not to do so...

@ CHAD .... if we review our history regarding NUKES involving Uncle Sam , I could resist to react why I cant blame others who says that why pick on other smaller nations , they dont have to be PRO NOKOR either ... they only wanted to make a point that USA itself is guilty of it . Do you think the COLD WAR is really over ?

RUSSIA and the US has still hundreds of NUKE WARHEADS pointed at each other on any given time ready o be launched bounded by mutual respect . I will comeback here about Uncle Sam's Nuke participation and why they need to clean their own backyard first .

No , I am not US hater either ... I myself holds a blue passport .

Simple ra na ang solution sa Japan, South Korea, and US. STOP giving humanitarian aid sa North Korea. Let the people suffer sa mga walay ayo gibuhat ni Kim Il Jong.

@spring: that is where we have to draw the line between STARTING a war and DEFENDING a nation from other nations with nuke warheads.

however, i really can't blame the major percentage of the global population (which also comes down to extremists) that hates America--branding it as hypocrisy for reprimanding other nations when US itself is eating its own dirt.

but we also have to remember that when US used its own arsenal, she had to defend herself from another nation that started the war. she only used it once, and never plans to use it again unless other nations pose an imminent threat. which in this case, NoKor.

"Declaring the future of mankind at stake, President Barack Obama said Sunday all nations must strive to rid the world of nuclear arms and that the U.S. had a “moral responsibility” to lead as the only country ever to use one."

Beyond outrage: The continuing grants of aid to North Korea's tyrannical regime
    By Donald Kirk

An earlier version of this column appeared in the DC Examiner. Mr. Kirk is a member of WorldTribune.com's Editorial Board.

SEOUL — North Korea’s latest missile test raises a critical question. Why should anyone consider giving aid to this regime that has already squandered billions in ill-gotten cash on firing off missiles and producing nuclear warheads while its terrorized citizens go hungry? ShareThis

Here’s an impoverished country, the single biggest recipient of aid from the World Food Program, where half the people are underfed, if not starving and diseased, hundreds of thousands consigned under unspeakable conditions to a vast prison system, and world leaders wonder whether to ply them with billions more.

It is not just that such thinking is ridiculous. It’s that it has no chance of working. We’ve been disillusioned again and again. Remember the North-South Red Cross talks of 1972, the harbinger of exchanges of mail, of visits by long-lost relatives?

And what about the North-South agreement for a nuclear-free Korean peninsula, signed in 1991? No sooner was the world getting comfortable with that deal than North Korea withdrew from the nuclear non-proliferation treaty.

Power + ICBM + nuke warhead makes a nation tick like a bomb... what made Japan surrender, what made Hitler fall... what made Sadam beheaded... what made us the third world country inferior to them (nation's with nukes)... what made China and Iran realized that they need a nuke also... and what made this whole damn world the worst...

Now tell me... are they friendly? Suppressing a weapon of mass destruction should not only be limited to those who cannot afford to create and maintain them... If they don't want nukes then they should not use nukes, nor develop nukes as a means of resource. And considering the US as a nation of bullies, picking fights on Nations who cannot fight back...

Mo sugot kaha ang taga Lilo-an nga ingnon "undang mog buhat/himo og pusil" sa mga taga batangas nga nag produce og balisong? ka LOL!

Not until Filipino's think like North Korean's will the plaque of being a "servant" be removed. Other nations will continue to mock us to death as a "nation of servants" because we kiss U.S./American a$$es in exchange for a VISA.[/QUOTE]

Kani nga statement ba sa ako lang opinion ha, North Korea is not even worthy to be called "Nation of Servants" because they are actually just begging and relying on aide from other nations to feed its people since 1995. Serving is better than begging but I agree we need to improve but definitely not by thinking like the North Koreans.
