Try to install "GPS Test". Makita nimo kung maka lock-on siya sa satellite and kung kusog ang signal per satellite. My Nexus 7 can see more satellites and gets stronger signal compared to my HTC. Pero Ive read na the case of the phone can affect the GPS signal especially kung metal case. Akong Desire HD dili kakuha signal kung naay case pero kung tangtangon nako ang case, maka lock-on siya in around 5 minutes outdoors.

the Nexus 7 can read low voltage portable hard drives and flash drives.. even card readers.
So if you ever feel the need for additional memory, gamit lang flash drive.

also since 3G imu ganahan paliton, maka-access ra ka sa mga cloud storage.

To the people thinking about getting the 3G version of the Nexus 7:
The cases made for the non-3G Nexus 7 WOULD NOT WORK for the 3G version. It will fit pero the 2 microphones of the 3G version are at different locations so if you try to use a non-3G case, ma-cover ang mga microphones. I still have not found a case specific for the 3G so i'm using a non-3g case for the mean time, pero medyo muffled ang microphone.

Did this and wala jud results.. naay murag time values pero puro 00:00.. I tried on other a Galaxy Note and same results raman pud nuon.. dunno why. Hopefully Nexus 7 is better jud, sana ma test before buying! haha

This is my first-hand experience.

A STOCK Nexus 7 paired with an OTG cable CAN do the following:

+ connect with a standard keyboard natively [generic full QWERTY keyboard]
+ connect with a wired mouse natively [generic laser mouse]
+ connect with a wireless mouse natively [E-access 5-button mouse] (all 5 buttons supported)
+ connect with a wired game controller natively [wired PS3 controller]
+ charge other android devices [Alcatel One Touch Glory X918N]
+ read non-android devices [Nokia Symbian Phones]
+ read flash drives [thru Nexus Media Importer and Nexus Photo Viewer]
+ can power USB speakers [Logitech Z110]

A stock Nexus 7 paired with an OTG cable CANNOT do the following:
(as of the moment, may have apps or patches in the future to fix this soon)

- fully support a backlighted keyboard [A4Tech KD-800L]
(it can turn all the backlights on, but no input reaction when you type. probably due to power requirements)

- utilize a USB modem or 3G dongle [Huawei E353]
(the dongle is ready to use, but there are no android drivers or apps for it. just like Mobile Partner for windows)

- fully support a PSP as a wired controller [PSP 3000 thru FuSa Gamepad application]
(D-pad works, but the remaining buttons registers as "press". no button mapped as "back" or "cancel" like the PS3 controller)

- power a laptop cooler [CoolerMaster NotePal L1]
(due to insufficient power. laptop coolers are high powered devices))

It is another story if your device is rooted.
