NBA rules are intact and the players should abide it. The rules are made to encourage discipline among those young stars or players who sometimes lose their cool. I think that's the development made by David Stern to discipline these "kids" in the the new generation of NBA.

And about the All-Star votes, the starters are made by the fans themselves and we can't blame them for that. I think that's what they call "marketability" because most players have that superstar status. That is where entertainment come in regardless of their performance during the season.

Lakers win Boston...I'd never thought I'd see the day when Boston fans would chant the name of a their hated rival's player. It's usually "Beat LA" but it's shocking that Celtics fan actually chant....KOBE! and chant M-V-P!!

I wouldn't be surprised. With the way Boston is playing right now, i mean, 13 straight losses is already a lot. And they got the worst home record in the NBA with 4-18, while they're better on the road 8-15.

ESPN.com >> The Los Angeles Lakers defeated Boston 111-98 on Wednesday, handing the Celtics their 13th consecutive loss to tie the franchise record for longest single-season losing streak.

    Season Games Final W-L

    1993-94 13 32-50
    2006-07 13 TBA

    SHORTS

Hawks won two straight to finish off the January campaign with 8-7 since their 4-3 mark in April 2004.

The Nuggets, who played without AI, lost 100-91 vs. the Blazers. They have the chance to avenge that loss when the Blazers visit them this Saturday (RP time) and stop that four game losing streak.

It was a battle out there in Tennessee. The Mavericks held off the lowly Memphis Grizzlies, 95-94. Hapit mapilde due to poor shooting (42% FG to MEM 44%; 3-11 from 3FG to MEM 11-19) but they manage to snag those woes by making 24/25(96%) free throws.

Utah never missed Carlos Boozer because they have Mehmet Okur, who had 31 points and 11 rebounds, in their 97-93 win over the powerhouse San Antonio Spurs.
