CASTING CALL
Looking for a female actress 16 to 22 years old and must be fluent in English.
For a short film to be shot in Manila. Round trip plane tickets, food and accommodation will be provided. Shooting will be on January.
The role is for "Amanda", a simple high school girl who helps Steven (main role) become a better person and is also his LOVE interest.

The 2012 Bacollywood: Cinemarehiyon 4 will be held in Bacolod City this coming February 8 to 11, 2012.
The NCCA sponsored Cinemarehiyon 2012 is now accepting short and feature length Visayan films for selection to be curated by Gabby Fernandez and Maria Victoria “Bambi” Beltran.
For Cebuano films, please submit your films now and be part of the growing pool of talented Visayan Film makers.

SineBuano would like to congratulate the cast and crew of the Cebuano film "MY PARANORMAL ROMANCE", a Cinema One Originals 2011 finalist for their successful theatrical run at EDSA Shangrila Cineplex 4 this November 9 to 15 and for earning nominations in the 2011 Cinema One Originals 2011 Digital Film Festival held at the RCBC Plaza Building, Ayala-Makati last November 13.
For this year’s festival jury, Cinema One invited movie critics Nicanor Tiongson and Dr. Benilda Santos, movie directors Chris Martinez (Bikini Open, Bridal Shower and Here comes the bride) and Chito Roņo (Bata, bata…Paano Ka Ginawa?, Feng Shui and Emir among others) with Msr. Christian Jeune, executive director for movies of the Cannes International Film Festival.
The movie received nods for the following categories:
- BEST ACTOR, PUBLIO BRIONES III (Nominated)
- BEST ACTRESS, PHOEBE KAYE FERNANDEZ (Nominated)
- BEST MUSICAL SCORE, JAY CHIONGBIAN YOUNG (Nominated)
- BEST PRODUCTION DESIGN, KALOY UYPUANCO (Nominated and WIN!)
- BEST EDITING, REUBEN AQUINO (Nominated and WIN!)
The movie director, VICTOR VILLANUEVA, also received a SPECIAL CITATION AWARD, a unique honor, from the organizers of the Digital Film Festival.
Applause and kudos to the home-grown Cebuano talents bringing pride and prominence to the Cebu’s moviemaking scene!
Congratulations to DreamLine Productions, Creative Core and above-the-line productions for their creative efforts.
Deepest thanks and appreciation to the wonderful people of Cinema One Originals, Cinema One for believing in what Cebu has to offer to Philippine cinema!
Screenings are currently on-going in Manila, however there are plans to have a premiere and screenings in metro Cebu soon! Please keep posted here for these announcements!
