sige lang 10 or 20 raman kaha ang reasons why you don't like the Phils. There are over a million reasons to thumbs up or like the Philippines. Hospitality palang daan. Talbog na ang uban. It's more fun in the Philippines (kinopya nga lang na slogan, kana one of the reasons pud na nga you don't like the Philippines, suno pikat, hehehhe)

What's sad and pathetic in a funny way is that even if you make the people behind the video pay for their actions, your efforts don't do a damn thing in changing the situation in this country. You're only restoring your "Pinoy Pride," whatever the hell that is for you people. And once more, you play to the stereotype of the Filipino playing the 'pity-me' card. You people bitched and moaned after that Teri Hatcher fiasco, you cried foul when Claire Danes whined about the shitty jail conditions, and most recently, you all got butthurt when Taylor Kitsch made a mistake on Letterman.

Did I say you didn't have to right to be angry? You have every right to be angry, and you should be. But anger is rarely good enough for justifying actions. It makes things worse. As stated earlier, this will do nothing for your fellow people except show them that you have thin skin. You let it get to you. Instead of proving the guy wrong by doing things to make the Philippines a better place, you want to get revenge. Are you doing this for yourselves, or are you doing this for the welfare of Filipino people? I thought this was about improving the Philippines, not personal vendettas.

Is it because the Filipino is worth dying for? Or is it because, only elephants never forget and people do?

I have asked myself many times: Is the Filipino worth suffering, or even dying, for? Is he not a coward who would readily yield to any colonizer, be he foreign or home-grown? Is a Filipino more comfortable under an authoritarian leader because he does not want to be burdened with the freedom of choice? Is he unprepared or, worse, ill-suited for presidential or parliamentary democracy? -Ninoy Aquino
