A long time photographer from IMAGES once told me, if you don't like the rules, then don't join. Which is true. By joining the contest we fill in a piece of paper diba? Did you guys read the print? The fine print? By signing that piece of paper, you agree to waive some of your rights by following the terms and conditions written in that piece of paper. It's something like enrolling to a university where you don't get to wear what you want and instead you wear the official uniform of the school with the school's logo on it. By enrolling, you waived your right to your choice of clothing when you're inside the school's premises.

The issue here is not about us having our rights taken away from us. It's not about turning us into walking billboards. Nobody complained about us being walking billboards when we were made to wear Kulas Shirt. The photo contest is not compulsory. Just because we paid P750.00 doesn't mean we can now wear or do what we want. There are rules and wearing the vest is one of them.

kung wala makauyon sa pamaagi sa SF, lakaw adto sa DTI file your complain, nya para makadawat ka sa imung 750 php. refund.
Maskin Canon,Nikon, Pentax etc. etc. pa ang vest akong sul ubon it's not about the brand and all the rants in here , it's about the fun during the festival. that's all voww...

Guys, again mangutana ko, asa man ni makita ang mga patakaran bahin sa photo contest sama sa gi ingon ni phatwell83 nga 2 ra ka photos ang pwede ma submit, as well as the mandatory order to wear the vest?

Naay official instruction gipagawas ang SF, or storya2x ra ni?

Also, when man jud mag start ang registration?
Naay naka hisgot nga nag start na, naa puy ni ingon nga na move sa january

Naka-print na cya sa registration form bai ang rules sa photo contest (mo-ingon unta ko nga naa pod sa ilang website but you posted nga dli toh updated). Nag-start na ang registration but wla pay canon vest nga gi-issue, so if you register today you'll only get the ID and canon ID strap, canon vest ky later na, mostl likely next week guro or later this week, no words yet.

goodmorning istoryans nakig talk nami sa among marketing director rgarding ds infact i already told our ed npud bwt ani bt what they told me is "they should wear the vest pra ma recognize mo na apil mo sa photo contest or else ayaw nlng mo ug apil"....
3. It is encourage that every1 to wear the vest para ma ilhan kinsa ang LIGIT photographer contestants kay naa baya sad mag apil2 apil maski dili contestant, dili ENOUGH visual proof ang ID ---- mao ni cya ang reason why you are required to wear your vest and your i.d...

mag complain mo why dako jud kaau ang name sa canon bec. major sponsor man sila wala natay mabuhat ana kay if mo sponsor ang nikon or other brands then pwede man pud sila mag ing ana everyone has their rights as long as ni sponosor sila if you have questions bout sa pamaagi sa among sponsorship then talk to our marketing director then she will answer all your qeustions including aning issue sa canon na vest...

last year daghan kaau ni complain coz ni register sila sa photo contest bt daghan daw gihapon maka shoot na wala ni register so moingon cla unfair kay nibayad daw cla... and most of the sinulog dancers ni complain pud na ang uban photographers samok na daw kay mgpaduol na ug maau so krn gi limit nana cya bt ang uban photographers mo reklamo gihapon kay lagi dli na sila kaduol.

so even moadto pa mo ug dti, or sa media wala na gihapon moy mabuhat ana infact daghan man taga media ang ni join and yes they complained pud kay some of them are nikon users sad...so ato nalang dawaton na canon ang ni sponsor and naa clay rights asa nila gusto ibutang ilang name and kamo as photographers wala nay mabuhat but to wear the vest as stated in the photo contest guidelines kay bisan ako ug ako pa isulti or ipabasa tnan ninyong comments dri wala na gihapon koy mabuhat ana. But at least our e.d and marketing director knw about it na nga daghan jud ni reklamo about sa vest.

so i hope na dili lang mgka gubot this coming sinulog tungod lang sa vest... advance happy new year to all and pit señor

I see, so pwede na pa register pero wala pa ang vest... paabot nalang ko after new year kay ganahan kos vest hehe

sorry sir if dili jud updated among website coz ang incharge sa among website kay c mcbilly from mag tv b4 bt nilarga nman gud cya so wala pjud nia na update or mangita nlng guro among e.d ug lain na mag maintain sa among website...
