guys forgive my innocence, i'm wondering how do you create these themes like the icons on the lower part of the desktop? and what is a DOCK?

@Visual C# ... since OD beta 3 isn't even released yet, and acquiring it means you have to pay for it ... you know where that leads to. So no links.

@Lionheart ... the dock is that bar with icons on the bottom of the desktop. I use ObjectDock Plus. You can find it at www.objectdock.com.

So i recently switched to Windowblinds, and now everything seems a lot faster. Will post desktop some time.

Planning of switching to WindowBlinds too. The new uxtheme.dll doesn't seem to work for me.

IconX for the icons in desktop

w00t for new toys to play with
I got tasty icons on my desktop thanks to IconX. It lets you use images (png, ijpg, etc.) and you can make 'em as big as you want. You can also control the mouseover, and highlighted events, changing the size, highlight color, font, etc. Well we'll see how much resources it gobbles up. WB seems to be alot faster than StyleXP, so i guess i'll be sticking with this. Also, OD+ is stable now, and the memory leaks are gone so i don't have to restart the dock after awhile. .
