The Legend of Cassiopeia

Cassiopeia: one of only three female figures in the northern skies. This constellation is one of the circumpolar constellations visible at about 40° north latitude. Its legends often reflect the fact that the constellation never sets below the horizon.

Greece: she was the vain and beautiful Queen of Philistia, sometimes referred to as Ethiopia. Claiming to have beauty that rivaled the Nereids, her punishment was the sacrifice of her daughter, Andromeda, to the sea monster Cetus. After her daughter was saved and promised to Perseus as his wife, Cassiopeia plotted with her daughter's fiancée Agenor, to kill Perseus. While outnumbered and attacked at his wedding feast, Perseus pulled Medusa's head from his bag and transformed Cassiopeia, Agenor and his men to stone. The Queen and King Cepheus are depicted in the sky facing each other's feet. They cannot speak to each other. Because the Queen insulted the sea nymphs, the pair never set below the surface of the sea. The constellation's name is derived from a Phoenician phrase that means the Rose-Colored Face.

Kabanata 7: Ang Banta Kay Cassandra

Sapiro:
Ybrahim and Alena are talking about Cassandra’s birthday. Ybrahim told Alena that there should be many soldiers who will guard Sapiro. Alena asked why and Ybrahim told her that he is worried about Cassandra’s dream. Alena told him not to worry. She also suggested that it’s time for them to have a child of their own. But Ybrahim told Alena that Cassiopeia once told them that they should not have a child of their own as long as Cassandra is still a kid. Alena said that they can defy Cassiopeia. That Ybrahim should have his own heir for Sapiro for Cassandra is the heir of Lireo because Danaya promised not to have a child so that the daughter of Lira should be the Queen of Lireo someday. Ybrahim said that Cassandra is also the heir of Sapiro for she is the daughter of her daughter Lira. Then walked out.

Alena: “ Hindi lamang si Amihan ang bilanggo sa kanyang nakaraan. Pati ikaw Ybarro, pati ikaw.�

Sapiro:
The soldiers don’t want Cassandra to go out. Cassandra get the shell that Alena gave her then orbed out.

Sapiro:
Amihan holding the avatar and the sword of her father Raquim. Pirena and Danaya appeared. Amihan asked Pirena on why did her loved ones are being taken from her. Their swords are the only things they had left for her. Pirena told her that all of them had lost someone and that they should be happy for they are alive and united. Amihan said that her life is now worthless and that she just wanted to rest. Danaya said that she is willing to give the crown back to Amihan but Amihan politely refused. Pirena then offered herself to accompany Amihan to where Amihan wanted to go. Amihan told them that she wanted to rest in Devas.

Sapiro:
Amihan still holding the avatar while crying. Cassandra came to give Amihan the shell. You can see through Amihan’s eyes that she wanted to get the shell and hug Cassandra but she said to Cassandra to keep it and go away. When Cassandra didn’t leave, she left Cassandra who is now crying.

Sapiro:
Alena saw Ybrahim reading the parchment.

Sapiro:
Muros asked Danaya if they are going back to Lireo. Danaya saw Cassandra who is whispering something to the shell. Danaya wento to Cassandra.

Danaya: “Cassandra, anong ibinubulong mo sa kabibeng yan?�
Cassandra: “Ila Danaya, hindi ba ko mahal ni Ila Amihan?�
Danaya: “Anong hindi! Bakit ba ganyan ka magsalita? Mahal ka niya sapagkat ikaw ay galling sa kanyang anak.�
Cassandra: “Pero ni minsan hindi niya ako nilapitan. Kapag ako naman lumalapit pinapaalis niya ako.�
Danaya: “Kamukha mo kasi si Lira, naaalala niya si Lira sayo, kaya nalulungkot siya.�
Cassandra: “Malungkot din ako Ila Danaya dahil hindi ko nakilala ang aking ina. Maganda ba talaga ang aking ina?�
Danaya: “Oo Cassandra, tulad mo ay napakaganda niya, tulad mo rin ay napakabait niya at napakamapagmahal. Kaya makinig ka, paglaki mo magiging katulad ka rin ng iyong ina, magiging matapang ka, magiging matatag dahil ikaw Cassandra ang hahalili sakin upang maging reyna.�
Cassandra: “ Di ko nais maging reyna Ila Danaya, nais kong maramdaman yakap ng isang ina, ang aking ina.�
Danaya: “Pagdating ng panahon, kapag nakalimot na si Amihan sa lahat ng sakit na nararamdaman niya, matutupad ang hinihiling mo, mayayakap ka rin niya. Matitikman mo rin ang yakap ng isang ina. Katulad ng natikman naming noon sa aming Ynang Reynang Mine-a.�

Sapiro:
Ybrahim still reading the parchment.

Hera Andal:
Mine-a couldn’t believe that she has a diwata blood in her. She wanted to help the diwatas but Avria stopped her and told her that she will be disinherited if she wil help the diwatas.

Sapiro:
The council is talking about etherians killing the diwatas. Bartimus doesn't want to fight the etherians. Asval angrily said that Bartimus should rememeber that the Prince of Etheria was the one who killed his wife, Aranghe, that only a piece of land was given to him, the land they now called hathoria.

Hera Andal:
Animus came and told Avria and Andora that he is successful in killing Memen and Ornia. He told them that kabilan was left in Sapiro.

Council:
Asval wanted to have a war but Cassiopeia told them that it is not the answer. Bartimus said that it is up to King Meno to decide.

Hera Andal:
Avria assured Animus that it’s just fine, eventhough the kabilan was left in Sapiro. Animus wished that Odessa will now be cured.

Coliseum:
Juvila and Barkus are now fighting.

Hera Andal:
Avria summoned Ether and requested that Odessa to be cured. Ether asked for a good reason and Avria gave her one. Ether cured Odessa.

Sapiro(present):
The hooded man said to the sleeping Cassandra that they will journet to the past.

Sapiro:
Pirena, Danaya, and Alena have their gifts to Cassandra ready. They asked Amihan on what gift that she will give to Cassandra. Amihan didn’t answered that question and just said to them that she ordered Muros to fetch Cassandra/ muros came and told them that Cassandra is not in her room. Amihan asked Muros.

Amihan: “ Wala si Cassandra sa kanyang silid?�

They rushed to Cassandra’s room leaving Amihan with a worried face behind.


Abangan Bukas:
--> The young Cassiopeia told the council that a child from the future will journey to the past.

--> Alena and the others told Ybrahim that Cassandra is missing.

--> Cassandra go with the hooded man.

The Present
Sapiro: Cassandra’s Chambers

After learning of Cassandra’s disappearance the 4 sang’gre sisters rush to her chambers. Upon entering they begin calling out for the young princess. The little fairies are crisscrossing the room in search of the missing child.

Pirena: “Tama si Muros wala dito si Cassandra�

At this Danaya issues an order to one of the little winged fairies to look for Muros and ask if he was able to find the princess within the palace grounds. The little fairy immediately zips away to look for the captain of the guard just as her mistress instructed. Pirena suddenly realizes that there is something unusual about the chamber and the shock of it is visible on her face.

Alena: “Bakit Pirena?�

Pirena: “Bakit wala ang mga dama ni Cassandra, at bakit walang kawal na nagbabantay dito?�

The others realized the oddness of the situation as well which on serves to add to their worry.

Somewhere in Encantadia

Animus and Cassandra have teleported to an open field. Animus unmasks himself and speaks to child beckoning her to follow him. He promises the little princess a grand present for her birthday when they get to their destination. The little princess in turn follows the stranger wordlessly.

Another person comes into view from far behind Cassandra and Animus. As he comes into view we can see that it is Marvus following the Etherian agent and the young princess.

Marvus: “Malapit nang maganap ang nasa propesiya, malapit na�

The Past:
Sapiro War Room

As the council continues their discussion Bartimus asks King Meno about his decision regarding the recent event. When suddenly Cassiopeia begins feeling faint and touches her forehead. The King, with great concern, asks the young fairy if she is ill. But it is Aegen who answers for the youth. He informs the king of Sapiro that it is not an illness which afflicts Cassiopeia, but the onset of one of her visions.

Cassiopeia: “Isang batang Sang’gre, isang batang sang’gre…�

These statements serve to baffle the other members of the council. To enlighten them Cassiopeia tells them of her vision that a young sang’gre from the future is to return to the past.

The Present
Sapiro: Cassandra’s Chambers

Danaya is speaking to the small winged fairies to confirm that they have not been able to find the young princess anywhere. The sisters are now truly worried about their little princess. Then Amihan finds a small pouch under Cassandra’s pillow. She recognizes the shell inside the pouch as the same one that the youth was trying to give her the previous evening. Alena tells her sister that it is the shell she gave their charge to help quell her fears, a possession the princess swore she would never part with.

Near the magical gateway

The gateway continues to swing and pivot emitting an eyrie golden glow, as two Etherian warriors stand guard on either side of the orifice. As the camera pans out we see Animus with the princess approaching. He motions to one of the guards who comes forward to present a sealed chest to Animus. When the chest is finally opened the golden hourglass is finally revealed. He presents the magical item to the young princess and she holds it in her hand, as animus grins ominously beside her.

Sapiro: The king’s chamber

Ybrahim continues to read the lost history of Encantadia; he is fully engrossed in the tale without any hind that his beloved granddaughter is missing, even as his kingdom prepares to celebrate the day of her birth.

The Past:
Hera Aega forest

Animus, along with Andora and Odessa has just teleported into the forest to seek the Olontre. Odessa does not know what the siblings have planed and is shocked to find herself in her homeland. Animus explains how he had to go through great lengths to secure a cure for her and thus save her life. In return he asks her to help him obtain the power of the Olontre as payment. Andora explains that her brother requires the essence of the Olontre to win over Juvila of Hera Volo.

Odessa refuses to agree to this demand and informs the siblings that the Olontre is her friend and that the price they seek is too great. To alleviate Odessa’s apprehension Animus promises to return the essence of the Olontre once he has what he wants. The warrior princess is very distraught at the turn of events, but finds her hands are tied by duty and honor to repay the service that given her in her time of need. She reluctantly agrees to help the siblings obtain what they seek.

The Coliseum of Hera Andal

A large crowd is enjoying the spectacle of Juvila and Barkus’ fight. The elder leader of Hera Sensa is not fairing well against the feisty young woman he wishes to take for his wife. Juvila has Barkus at sword point, but the man refuses to give up. He tells Juvila that her decision to actively pull back from dealing him physical harm is a big mistake. He then presses another attack on the young warrior. But his efforts are to no avail as Juvila proves once again that she is the greatest warrior in Etheria.

Hera Aega forest

With teary eyes Odessa calls upon her friend the Olontre to come out of hiding. She explains that the magical being should not fear the newcomers for they are friends; an outright lie that seems to get stuck in Odessa throat even as she speaks. The Olontre hesitantly come out from behind the thick brush shimmering with a golden glow about her. As she comes within Animus’ reach, he grabs her from behind as Andora distracts Odessa. With the guardian’s back turned he buries his knife in the back of the magical woman and absorbs her power. Odessa is shocked at what has just happened, her friend has just been stabbed right before her eyes. She runs to the wounded figure and cradles her dying friend while crying, just as the siblings depart.

Sapiro: War Room

The council is questioning Cassiopeia about her vision, when the two princes arrive. Asval immediately informs the princes of what is transpiring and the purpose of the gathering. To add to the urgency of the situation Raquim informs the council of the ghastly slaughter of the diwatas. The council decides to leave the decision to King Meno and they ask the princes if they are in accordance with this choice. Both Raquim and Hagorn agree to follow the council‘s decision.

So it goes that King Meno orders the three greatest warriors of Encantadia Asval, Raquim and Hagorn to hunt down and kill the assassin Animus.

The Coliseum of Hera Andal

The fight between Juvila and Barkus is over. Victorious Juvila with her father are set to return to Hera Volo as Arvak looks on. But before they can depart Animus teleports right in front of the throne and challenges the woman he loves to a duel. Arvak tries to dissuade Animus from following through with his challenge, since it is widely know that the latter is a wimp. But Animus screams at the Hathor that he should not belittle his abilities.

The Present
Sapiro: Throne Room

Ybrahim greets the sang’gres as he walks into the room. He is wondering what the sisters are doing secluded in the throne room when the guest for the celebration have already arrived. Alena informs her husband that they have been looking for the princess with no avail for some time now. The king is very surprised at the news.

The Past
The Coliseum of Hera Andal

Juvila accepts Animus’ challenge and the two commence to fight. Animus is able to deflect an attack from Juvila and steal a kiss all in one fell swoop. This startles the feisty female warrior and they continue their battle. With the power he obtained from the Olontre Animus is able to overpower Juvila. Cilatus and Arvak look on in disbelief because everyone knows that Barkus’ son is a wimp. When Animus hears this statement he decides to prove he is not a wimp and kisses Juvila on the lips with the whole crowd cheering.

The Present
Cassiopeia’s Lair

The former queen is casting a spell in front of her cauldron when she senses the arrival of another being. She calls out to the stranger with her mind and Marvus steps forward. He greets the queen and informs her that he has information that she must hear.

The Past

Animus fully enjoyed the kiss he obtained from Juvila and he promises to love and care for her all his life. Then Cilatus informs her daughter that since the young man was able to dominate her in battle she is now under his power.

Hera Sensa

Barkus looks displeased at his defeat at the hands of the beauty Juvila. He is pacing within his private chambers clearly unhappy. He vents out his frustration by lashing out with his power on the walls. This alarms his guards who immediately approach, but he dismisses them immediately.

When the guards leave Andora walks into the chamber taunting her father with every step she takes towards him. He sends her away, but she refuses to leave instead she continues taunting him. She voices out her observation that he is displeased because he never thought that he could be bested by his weakling son Animus. He silences her, but she just continues to voice her dissatisfaction at her father.

Animus’ Chamber

Animus and Juvila are speaking with each other while becoming more intimate. Juvila admits that she never thought that she would encounter a man who could best her, but now here he is right in front of her. She tells Animus that she loves him and promises him to be the best wife and greatest warrior in Etheria then the two head over to the bed. She slowly pulls Animus towards her and the two kiss.

While the two lovers are being intimate Asval, Raquim and Hagorn begin an attack on the palace. They are easily able to subdue the guards. Raquim becomes the voice of reason as he stops Asval from needless slaughter and they are able to get the information they need without anymore bloodshed. Raquim then uses his staff to erase the guard’s memory.

The Present
Sapiro: Throne Room

Alena sits on the throne awaiting news about the search for her granddaughter. Amihan suddenly materializes in one corner and is immediately asked by her sister if she was able to find Cassandra. Amihan does not answer and just stands there looking worried. Not long after Danaya and Pirena materialize out of thin air, closely followed by Ybrahim and the guards. No one has been able to find Cassiopeia.

Suddenly, Amihan senses that there is something coming their way. A few seconds later Cassiopeia teleports into the throne room. Her arrival seems to stir suspicion among the royal family as they wordlessly look upon her.

The Past
Animus’ Chamber

Animus and Juvila are peacefully resting on the bed looking very comfortable. But Asval, Raquim and Hagorn walk in on them. As Juvila stirs she is startled to be facing the masked figure of Asval wielding his axe. Before she can react Asval knocks her out with his axe and they converge on Animus. Animus pulls out a sword from under a pillow and defends himself, but the odds are greatly stacked against him. He is knocked down by Asval and then run through by Raquim…he staggers and eventually falls. Juvila finally revives and is enraged at what has happened to the man she loves. She grabs her spear and attacks the trio. With her attack she successfully unmasks Asval. The two princes rush her and are able to throw her to the ground at which the trio hastily departs, their job complete, Animus has been dealt with. Juvila runs to Animus and cries over her lover.

The Present
Sapiro: Throne Room

Ybrahim asks Cassiopeia why she has come. She tells them that prior to that day she was content to keep her seclusion because peace had finally come to Encantadia. And so Pirena asks that if this is so, what is the reason for her return. Cassiopeia informs the sisters that there is something that threatens to shatter the peace ones more, and it all begins with Cassandra’s disappearance. She tells them where Cassandra has gone and who she is with, then she warns them that they must be ready for another great challenge.

Kabanata 9: Ang Paghahanap kay Cassandra Â*

The episode begins with Ybarro and the four sang’gres. Ybarro tells the sang’gres that Cassandra’s dream might be connected with the incident. Alena becomes worried but Danaya assures her that everything will be fine. Amihan stops the conversation and tells them not to waste time. Pirena agrees with Amihan.

Past:

In Sapiro, King Meno meets the konseho. Asval narrates what happened and Hagorn says that there is one who saw the incident. Raquim tells them that Juvila of Hera Volo was the one who saw them.

In Hera Sensa, Juvila grieves over Animus. Andora enters the room and sees the couple. She asks Juvila what happened. Cilatus enters and asks the same question. Andora touches Juvila and was able to see what had happened. Cilatus asks one of the guards to call Barkus.

Back in Sapiro, Asval tells King Meno that Juvila and Animus were able to fight them before they were able to kill Animus. Hagorn tells them that they did not want to have someone see the incident. Meanwhile, Cassiopeia enters and tells them,

“Ito na ang pasimula ng digmaang hinahangad mo, Asval.�

Barkus tells Andora that Animus became too supercilious that’s why he was killed. Barkus then leaves. Etherian soldiers enter and Queen Avria, Mine’a and some damas follow. Avria asks them about Barkus’ whereabouts. Cilatus answers that he is resting. Avria gives something to Andora. Avria then asks them who is responsible for the incident. Juvila answers that it was Asval and his two other companions. Andora and Juvila tell Avria that they want to avenge Animus.

Asval approaches King Meno. The king tells him that he feels that Etheria will not take Animus’ death for granted. Asval tells him that he is ready to die if needed. Meno tells him that he will not let that happen. He then hugs his brother. Asval tells him that they need to be ready. Meno tells him to call the Hathorian and Adamyan leaders.

In Hathoria, Bartimus is sharpening a sword. Hagorn enters and Bartimus tells him that they need to get ready because the Etherians might attack them any time now. Hagorn refuses and tells him that he is still going to marry Mine’a. Bartimus madly tells him to stop thinking about Mine’a because she is an Etherian and she is an enemy.

In the present, the sang’gres and Ybarro continue to search for Cassandra. Amihan stops and whispers something to Cassandra’s shell. Ybarro asks her if there’s any problem. Amihan tells him that she does not want to lose Cassandra. She wasn’t able to hug her, and tell her that she loves her so much. Ybarro assures her that they will find Cassandra and hugs Amihan.

In the past, Cassiopeia tells Aegen that they are searching for the young sang’gre. Aegen asks her if the sang’gre she is talking about was the one that she saw in her eyes earlier. The Adamyan leader also asks Cassiopeia who the sang’gre is and who are the ones searching for her. Cassiopeia tells him that she does not know.

In Hera Andal, a “mata� (but she looks like a dama…) tells Mine’a that in the future, she will have four daughters. Mine’a tells her that what she wants to know is the thing that will happen right now. Gurna approaches Mine’a. Mine’a tells Gurna that she does not want to join the war because maybe she’ll make another wrong move again. Avria enters and tells Mine’a that she must get ready for the war but Mine’a does not want to.

Avria: “Isang digmaan ang sagot upang maging pantay ang lahat…�

Mine’a insists that she does not want to join the war but Avria was firm. The Queen orders Gurna to ready Mine-a’s battle gear.

In Sapiro, Hagorn tells Raquim that they are getting ready but he thinks about Mine’a.

Raquim: “Kalimutan na natin sya…�

Hagorn: “Natin? Inaalala mo rin sya?�

Raquim answers him that he is not thinking about her and repeats to Hagorn that he should stop thinking about Mine’a. Asval breaks the conversation and tells them that they are already ready.

Etherians come face to face with the Hathors and Sapiryans. Asval and Bartimus tell King Meno that they are already ready for battle.

One of the guards tells Avria that they are ready. The leaders of the 3 other tribes tell Avria that they are also ready for the war.

King Meno meets Queen Avria. Queen Avria tells King Meno to surrender Asval and his two other companions but the king refuses. The queen then tells him that if he does not want to, they will proceed with the war.

In Lireo, Cassiopeia tells the diwatas about the war. Marvus tells them that they will fight and help the three other kingdoms. Cassiopeia blesses them.

Back in Etheria, King Meno tells Queen Avria that if they are able to conquer Hera Andal, Etheria will fall. Queen Avria tells him that she will not let that happen and that Adamya, Hathoria and Sapiro will be fallen kingdoms.

Meno: “Patnubayan ka sana ni Ether…�

Avria: “Patnubayan ka sana ni Emre…�

In the present time, Ybrahim asks the three sang’gres (Alena, Danaya and Pirena) if they were able to find Cassandra. Amihan tells them that the wind is trying to tell her something and she senses that danger is coming. Marvus enters.

Ybarro: “Sino ka?�

Marvus introduces himself. Danaya tells him that he is a diwata but she does not know him. Marvus tells them that it is because he is from the past. He then tells them to follow him because he knows where Cassandra is.

In the center of Encantadia, they see Cassandra, stuck inside a giant golden hourglass.

Etheria won the first battle (December 23, 2005)

Nice kaayo ug mga war suit ang mga heran.. bati lang ang fighting scene..

The "DIGMAAN" episode looks like a gang war to me.. aside from konti ang mga mandirigma, parang isang araw lang ang itinagal...

mas exciting pa ung labang nila Danaya, Amihan, Pirena etc. laban sa mga Etherian, and speaking of the said confrontation... si Animus ung dumakip kay Cassandra di ba?? pano nangyari yun kng napatay cya nila Asval??

hahay.. lalong bumababa ang ratings ng Etheria...
ksi halos lhat ng mga tao nsa labas at namimili pra sa pasko...
kya nde maiiwasan kng nde makakapanood ng TV(Etheria) ung iba khit na gusto nila... pagkatpos mamili matatrapik pa...

sa actors nman... mas ok n ung performance ng cast this week.. nkapagadjust n cguro cla, pero konting hasa pa....

Kabanata 10 : Unang Digmaan

**Recently in Encantadia**
Cassandra was in the big hour glass. She was asking help from them. A diwata from the past told them they have to beat the guards to free Cassandra. The guards came out of the circle door. They asked him what does he need from Cassandra. Animus said "It is for the victory of Etheria". The diwata said they need to hurry before it will be hopeless to help Cassandra. They used their gems but couldn't beat them. More Etherians came and they fought. Animus was strong and was the only one alive of the Etherian guards. Ybarro told him to give up but Animus refused. He went back to the circle door. Cassandra asked help from them.

Alena told Amihan that Cassandra is disappearing. She asked "What shoud we do?"
Everyone especially Amihan were very worried for Cassandra.


**The Past**
The Sapiryans and Hathors were having a war against Etherians. One ordered for the others to shoot arrows to the Etherians. Avrila ordered to prepare the sheilds. No one was hurt. Now they fought using their swords.

Mine-a was almost defeated by Raquim. He grabbed her and left the others fighting. Juvila and Asval were fighitng. Juvila wanted revenge for them killing Animus. Asval was almost defeated by Juvila.

When Avria and Meno were fighting, Avria used her power and defeated Meno. Avria, Odessa, Andora, and Juvila were on the top. They watched the others fight. Then Animus and Andora's father came to the war for he wanted to join. He said the should finish this. The diwatas from Lireo came. Avria was mad. She casted a spell and hit the foes.

The Sapiryans and Hathors were losing. Now Asval, Meno, and Bartimus were talking and decided to give up. The Etherians won.

Mine-a and Raquim was somewhere away from the war. Mine-a asked why did Raquim not kill her while he had the chance. Does he want to let Mine-a suffer before dying for what the Etherians did to them? Raquim answered: he wanted to save her. He did this because his feelings say so. They kissed and Hagorn saw them(but they didn't see Hagorn). Then Mine-a got mad and went away from Raquim. Raquim said "E correi diu (Mahal kita)" Mine-a left.

They gathered in Sapiro. Cassiopeia said that the lives that were sacrificed were useless. One said that they shouldn't let them continue the bad things they are doing. They should fight. Cassiopeia disagreed. There was a bit of a "fight".

Evades came and adviced them that they should pray and ask help from Emre. Evades prayed to Emre, all of them facing his statue. Then Emre showed up. He had heard their prayer. He gave them a large crystal, and assigned it to Cassiopeia and the leaders of Sapiro, Hathoria and Adamya. Emre said that it will be their most effective weapon from the Etherians. It has the 4 elements of nature: fire, wind, water and earth. Then he disappeared. Cassiopeia said that the crystal will be the start of a war. Many will aim for the powerful crystal. Bartimus was mad and ignored what Cassiopeia said. They left Cassiopeia, Evades and the Adamyan.
