Stats wise ironically mas dako kang mamba especially sa Steals and Assists at 1.8 and 1.4 steals pg and 6.5 6.4 per game sa assists and ....not to mention Mamba is more efficient in stats made in the minutes he's in and field goal averages.

Kobe too is among to premier defenders in the league right now, a status where LeBron has yet to achieve and prove. Kobe is a one-man team in LA because he's got nowhere to pass, his teammates are normally shooting blanks. . Plus his closest sidekick, Lamar Odom is too inconsistent. He's got no choice but to do it by himself.
Kobe is unfortunate to be in a mediocre team with inconsistent players. Maybe we can say the same for LBJ soon if the Cavs management keep handling the team like they are now(esp. AV's case). Just like Kobe, LBJ can be a better player with good athletes around him. But just like the famed Bill Russell-Wilt Chamberlain rivalry of past, we count the rings and Kobe has 3 to Lebron's nil. Save the what-could-have-happened-without-Oneal-and-others debate for another though.

The one thing though that makes me choose LBJ over Kobe is how both handled team (mis)management. Kobe ranted loudly while LBJ didn't talk bad.

    e.g.
Q: How much better or worse are you guys without them?

A: Oh, we're worse. We're not as good as we were if we have those guys. It's simple. We all know that. Those two guys are a big part of our team. There's no reason to sit here and say we're better without them. I think they're a key point to our team. At the same time, we have to continue to get better while they are not here. Hopefully something happens.

Kobe has been playing and keeping up with almost the same mediocre line-up for almost 3 years (at least they've got Derek fisher now once again), I can't just imagine how disappointed and heartbroken he is with the Lakers management, his frustrations just kept piling up season after season. If LeBron will be in that situation too after 3 years, it won't be surprising for him to voice out and possibly want out of Cleveland too. Vince Carter did as well as Allen Iverson too. There's nothing more frustrating than doing one's best and still end up losing.. all the time. . Kobe feels a talent like his deserves something better than an early first round exit, which I think is right.

Bring back Jerry West to the Lakers.

If there's one person I really admire in handling such situations, it's Kevin Garnett.
