boss @Rainerius if intel xeon imo gamit na processor mas pas pas ba ang rendering time? thanks
Nope, much better kung naka i3 raka then high end nga gpu...

ahh thanks sir. mag gamit man pud ko after effects and nakabantay ko sa ray trace gamit ang GPU but sa rendering more on processor and ram. not sure ko if sakto ba ako settings kay everytime mag render ko sa after effects full man xa sa CPU usage. ^_^

that's the reason why need ta'g fast CPU (i5 Sandy Bridge as minimum for Intel and the 8 core FX-83xx series as minimum for AMD)... nice to have ni na CPU, lots of system ram, SSD scratch disk (nice to have) and separate 7200 rpm drive as minimum for capture, storage and Adobe Apps... then Nvidia GPU only kun CS5 to CS6 (for the video editing apps like the Premier Pro and After Effects)... AMD and Nvidia GPUs for CC and CC 2014...

kaning video editing apps, gamit kaayo kun kusog ang atoang CPU, the more cores, the better... in professional video editing rig, maong gamit ni sila'g i7 and Xeon CPUs... ug multi-physical CPUs pud... dual Xeons...

sa atoa na case, labi na limited ang budget... nice nang gi mention nato sa taas na mga minimum CPUs for this kind of work load and application...

the only problem nako sa laptop is limited ang slots as HDD if i want to use it for after effects. mao rendering time for 1 min video abtan man oras hahaha. got i5 2.6ghz 3230M, 8 gig ram and gtx660m vcard, and 1TB SSHD para sa laptop. wala pa budget upgrade sa ram hehehe.

^ hehehe... for these kind of work load, mas better ang desktop bro kay maka pili man ta'g nice na HW... nice ug barato... hehehe... kaning mag notebook PC man gud ta, limited atoang moves. kun gusto ta'g powerful configuration on a notebook, powerful man pud sya'g presyo... directly proportional sa price... hehehe...

    ako renderer is CUDA based...
dili kaayo priority ang CPU ug mem...

    Gamit nako is 3 x GTX780 ug 1 x GTX650ti for 3d display.

36 seconds per frame ang render...

    test renders (animation):

Hmmn...
