@duneman, thanks for the links bro. I somehow read across the article of dvldoc few years ago about 2T oil in lubricating fuel pump, injectors in tsikot and it is very informative and he has a very good knowledge in filtration.

Toyota Innova D4D fitted with BT223...can easily go 12,000kms with synthetic oil...if only the space is enough already fitted with B2 as it has larger surface area and more pleats, so lesser pressure drop and less chance of clogging and triggering bypass valve...

@duneman, it seems hard to break the old habbit of using OEM and over the counter oil filters like VIC, etc. whose filtration efficiency, capacity and service life is way beyond the aftermarket heavy duty oil filter like Baldwin, Mann, Donaldson, Fleetguard, Wix, etc....up for tonight Istoryans for Baldwin, Mann, Donaldson heavy duty oil filters. Switch now to these filters for a smoother, cleaner, highly filtered oil to your engine internals to reduce wear, friction, loss compression in the long run and prolong your engine life 3 or 4 times it's average life. Remember your oil is as good as your filter, there is no point of using synthetic blend, full synthetic oil in a poor quality over the counter oil filters and OEM.....
