mre is a very indespensible commodity for an airsofter who plays bivouc games (72 hours straight wargames and yes in the mountains in a very huge area)... i have couple of this before coz i play bivouc games before when i still playing airsoft... its not just pa choy2... gamit na siya para makakaon ug dali specially atong sagulan rag tubig para mo init...

kung mag-ingon ana man diay mo, why not do the real thing and go into the military? nganong magfake soldiers mo nga naa man ang real deal? real men go to the military.

and if the MREs are even useful for gamers, why not give them to the very people that could benefit from those--the military? why sell them to gamers? just goes to show that donated MREs are being corrupted by corrupt gov't officials. off topic but in the same vein, pacquiao should not be given tax exemption.

1. GMA is reporting about MRE being sold.
2. DJ Darge was citing another scenario.
3. the Japanese aid worker could be saying another scenario.
4. The UK aid agency could be investigating other scenarios.

But with all the news being reported today like.
1. DSWD are repacking donations.
2. DSWD had been politically selective who to give.
3. Corruption of relief goods from local officials.
4. No sign of some imported relief items cause they are being replace.
5. Talks of relief goods are being sold.
6. People from Tacloban are saying things that negates what the govt is saying.
etc

With all the crap coming out from here and there, personally I will believe anything what the media says esp if it comes from a foreign source.


And playing down MRE is readily available doesnt really makes our country less corrupt, still its illegal.

MRE are not exclusively been sold to airsoft gamers. It's up to you, why not give your salary to the poor instead of buying fancy stuff like shoes, shirts, car, bikes, phones etc. Again MRE's are not in the governments hands jeez. But then again, yep I agree.. We are ruled by laws, not of men.. so no men should be exempted by the law.

No aid diversion

But the British embassy in Manila yesterday gave assurance that relief goods from the UK have reached the Visayas.

“We have no evidence of British aid being used for anything other than the relief effort, which is helping hundreds of thousands of Filipinos rebuild their lives,” the British embassy said in a statement.

The embassy said the UK government is working closely with international aid agencies and the Philippine government to ensure supplies are sent to where they are most needed.
