Actually, the whole trade proposal involving a three-team deal with Atlanta-Minnesota-Phoenix is:

    Suns send Amare
    Suns get KG

    Minny sends KG
Minny gets #3, #11, Zaza and expiring contract

Hawks send #3, #11, Zaza and expiring contract of AJohnson
    Hawks get Amare

BUT... there's a big but right there posing a roadblock. There are reports that a Hawks owner vetoed the whole deal, and also the Hawks decision-making ability, to acquire a player that would send the Hawks over the cap limit. I guess that's Steve Belkin right there blocking the whole possible new-face of the Atlanta Hawks.

This really sucks. For the Hawks to get into the next level they need star quality players to be effective in the playoffs and marketing.

As i've said before, the Lakers don't have the right pieces to complete a KG swap. They may have expiring contracts in Mihm and McKie but McHale doesn't seem to be interested with Bynum and Odom and the Lakers #19 pick, which is layo ra kau sa top 14 or 10. If they want to send KG somewhere and rebuild, they need higher picks to get the young players that McHale needs.

The Lakers could make a pitch to Indiana's Jermaine O'Neal then. I think the Pacers are interested with a pick, Bynum and Lamar Odom.

Actually, I never heard about this rumor before til you came up with it. Anyway, I did a bit of research and came up with a rumor, again, that Cavaliers GM Danny Ferry wants to get someone, as a sidekick, for Lebron James. Players who've been reported to be on the Cavs radar are Rashard Lewis, Zach Randolph, Shawn Marion and Jason Richardson.

Jrich could be the guy reachable here, IMO. But he'll be making $11million this year, 12, 13 and 14 the following years. I suppose its sulit though. As of now, I don't really know kinsa na players ang involved.

But, IMO, a simple swap for JRich and Ilgauskas can do the trick since the Warriors are having a logjam at their swingmen position and needs a bigger man to handle the boards while the Cavaliers need someone to handle the pressure off Lebron. The Cavs can resign Varejao for the C purposes.

#3 and #11. the future looks good for minnesota. there's a lot of good prospects in this season's draft. at least this is a decent and a bit fair if they send KG away. though they'll be badly hit that they might lose a one-man wrecking crew and MVP caliber player, they get youth and salary cap space in return, a good investment for the future.

    NBA RUMORS MILL:

SUNS most likely winners on KG's trade
There was a growing sentiment around the league that the Kevin Garnett sweepstakes are nearing a conclusion and that the Phoenix Suns are the most likely winners, with two trade scenarios emerging that could potentially land Garnett in the desert by draft night.
The Suns were trying to move up in the draft, if not to keep the pick, then to perhaps use it to trade for Minnesota’s Kevin Garnett. Phoenix and Minnesota have had recent discussions about a trade and are likely to continue talking before the draft, according to two people familiar with the Suns’ and the Wolves’ plans. Suns center Amaré Stoudemire still is not going anywhere. It still is a long shot for Timberwolves forward Kevin Garnett to wind up in Phoenix.

Jermaine O’Neal for either Lamar Odom or Andrew Bynum?
Sources close to the Lakers say that the team has a standing offer to Indiana for Jermaine O’Neal and it's on the Pacers to take a deal that sends either Lamar Odom or Andrew Bynum and the Lakers will give all the secondary contracts to make a deal, including cash and future draft picks.

Grant Hill still wants to play
Grant Hill has made it clear he’ll play again next year; Detroit and the Suns are both teams that Grant has expressed some interest in, but the Lakers may be the dark horse in the Grant Hill race.

    Piston will re-sign Billups?
Chauncey Billups filed his option for free agency and while it may be a formality (as the Pistons feel confident they can re-sign him) there are still a few people close to the situation who believe Chauncey could be lured away from Detroit. If the situation were right, don’t be surprised to see Miami sneak in a visit and if Chauncey is taking phone calls the Mavericks could be in the hunt as well. Most of that will fall on Chauncey. The Pistons have apparently green lighted a max deal for Mr. Big Shot, so it's on Chauncey to decide if he’s a Piston for life.

    CAVS interested on Mo Williams?
Hot name on the free agent front may be Maurice Williams; Mo wants a $9 to $10 million a year deal. The Bucks are rumored to be willing to go as high as $8 million to keep him. It’s believed the Cavaliers will talk with Mo, as will Miami. $9 million a year may be a bit high for Mo’s talent, but with a lack of quality free agent guards Mo may find himself in a seller's market.

oh well, NY knicks is looking good. zach randolph, fred jones and dan dickau for steve francis, channing frye and a 2008 second round draft pick. sayang lang si frye, but randolph will give the knicks more depth in the paint. curry and randolph team-up in the frontcourt is not really bad after all.

    C-curry
    PF-randolph
    SF-richardson
    SG-crawford
    PG-marbury

lee and robinson off the bench

though the knicks will have to deal with 2 things with their prized big men. both are mediocre defenders and conditioning will be a concern.

allen and pierce will be lighting up the scoreboards night after night plus al jefferson in the paint. boston might be back. though one concern: a legit PG. lets just hope rajon rondo will have a breakout season.
