ok ang ITX TS. I would go for that kay nice to have a Small Form Factor (SFF) build unya minimalist ang approach while not sacrificing on performance.

If kaya sa budget, I would go with the 256 GB ssd for system drive and the hdd can be secondary storage.

Dako gyud na'g impact sa responsiveness as well as boot and load times.

An alternative setup would be to buy a 64GB ssd then enable ssd caching with your 1tb 7200 seagate para your system will see them as a single drive.

With the money saved, you can opt for faster videocard or spend for peripherals.

One year old naman na ang Ivy, unya ni provide ang Intel ug bago which is the Haswell. Ngano dili man ang bago imoha? Mura man useless mag upgrade ka unya mo stick gihapon ka sa Ivy.

Sama sa giingon sa mga tao diri, go for Haswell and stock cooler. Dili man na CPU intensive imong mga games so useless ra nang 3rd party coolers. Ipuno nalang na 16GB or 32GB RAM para sky is the limit ang headroom unya nindot nga GPU.

TS, a lot of people here have suggested to go with Haswell... i think naay advantages ang haswell with ur planned ITX setup...

    - haswell cpus run cooler which greatly helps since itx build ka
    - with stock cooler on haswell maka save ka vs. buying 3rd party cooler

With regards sa motherboard, you can buy something like this:

    Asrock H87M-ITX LGA1150 Newegg.com - ASRock H87M-ITX LGA 1150 Intel H87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard

Many would say nga mas ma future proof nimo ang pc with the new socket pero that really depends on how frequent sad ka mu upgrade ug cpu. If ur the type nga maybe every 2 years or more mu upgrade then Intel will have come out with another socket by then.

For me the biggest advantage sa haswell is that in runs cooler which is what you want for an ITX setup. Nothing wrong with Ivy Bridge man sad hinuon and maybe mas available pa ang Ivy nga cpu and boards karon but nearing 4Q of 2013 haswell will be flooding the market. Its also the "tock" or new architecture sa Intel so that socket with be around for a while.

In the end TS, check lang the price and availability sa haswell vs. ivy for ITX setup then depending on your upgrade pattern, decide if worth it ba siya over the other.
