Off topic: I remember someone from the US saying " If it this is done by a private citizen, it's pyramiding. If it this is done by government, it is called Social Security." I laughed at that idea but i do believe they are very similar in their operations. Social Security, Pag Ibig, Philhealth, all have pyramiding schemes, just scrutinize it. Therefore, only the Government is allowed to conduct pyramiding schemes. LOL!
hala pag enter pa mo anang pyramiding scam...... kamo ray maunay sa taya
What really characterizes a pyramiding scheme? It is a scheme where it offers a product or service but it can only maintain its existence through a perpetual introduction of members into the program. It cannot maintain its operation by selling its products or services, a pseudo business framework, and it can only continue giving benefits to old customers by a nonstop introduction of new members. If the introduction of new members stops, the house of cards will fall.
The only difference with government pyramids is that it is mandatory, assuring the continuous process of new enrollees. But the nature is really the same.
