with some extra money, i bought notebooks and pencils for a few kids in our neighborhood. seeing the children's faces light up brings so much joy to us.

yesterday i gave a free haircut for our tired but very efficient kasambahay. she can't thank me enough.

I was a recipient of one totally random act of kindness that I will always remember to this day.

This happened about more than a decade ago .. me, my brother, and a friend of ours were driving to Tampa (Florida), which was an hour and a half away from where we were coming from (Sebring, Fl). Halfway to the Tampa.. and along the backroads, one of the tires blew. I started to change the tires only to find out that there's no spare tire in the trunk. We were stuck in the middle of nowhere. Then came along this guy in a pick-up truck.. gave us a lift and drove us to the next gas station which was about 6-7 miles away.. we had our tire patched then he drove us back to our car.

He didn't ask for anything in return... he just said "Hell, I was in no hurry and nobody drives by around these parts".

I and my son was going to school (uspf), naay tiguwang nag ask if ang way is padong mandaue, he said gikan pa sya sa hospital where naadmit yaha anak, moadto sya sa mandaue kay mangayo ug hinabang, two days na sya walay kaon. nag ask sya ug water sa tindahan pero wala jud sya hatagi, natuimingan pajud na wala koy kwarta sakto ra pamilete namu. pero I spare some para iya iplete padung sa sm. . ug palit tubig, nag ask ko pasensya sa iyaha kay mao rajud akong mahatag that time. .

ako sad recipient ko ani...samtang nag trabaho ko sa mga electrical wiring sa balay sa ako amo...kibaw man siya nga palahubog gyud ko, pag uli nako iya ko gihatagan ug 2 ka botelya sa empe, karon mao ni ako gilangawan ug tagay samtang nag post2x diri sa istorya

D other day, I saw some rich people na giving breakfast sa mga beggar sa dalan. A friend of mine said na dos people kai mag cge jud d i ug pang hatag ug foods sa mga walai balay.

In time if I have funds, nahan pod ko sa ila ginabuhat. ^^ NIce to hear nga naa pajud mga dato nga down to earth.
