Ang building, good for 50 years but once the lot will be sold, you still have a share ky somehow part owner man ka if you own a unit/s.
Utilize the property in such a way di ka lugi. pero mas ganahan sad ko'g house/building and lot or lot only actually, hehe...

    OnT:
kumusta na TS? I guess, baby's out na.
share lang q a bit sa experience. niabot jud ang time TS nga lisod i-balance ang financial obligations and ang available funds to think single pa gani mi... di paman sad delinquent pero labad na sa ulo sa kadaghan bayrunon.

in renting, daghan paman sad pwede mahimo basta nice choice of property. just be creative and pwede ra gyud na ma libre pa inyo personal expenses with it, thus preserving your available funds.

I say Rent... especially kay mahal man ang mga housing projects karon. a good housing project in the city...guadalupe or talamban would cost you about 1.8m ang equity alone would be around 300k na. naa ba moy pang equity?

How about the monthly amortization that house would cost you around 15k a month. Wherein kun mangita lang mo ug appt you can rent for a decent house for 7,500. so if you dont have pang equity and though you can afford so what you can do is place that extra in a long term mutual fund or vul. by saving the 7500 every month for the next 25 years at a rate of 16% per year you should be getting about 20m. which you can choose to buy a house at a location of your choosing. or start your own business or do whatever. Atleast you now have the choice of what to do because you have financial muscle.

kanang nag sulti na there are 1m na house, well those house are very small and layo pa jud. factor in the traveling time. do you really want to spend 2 hours a day traveling? if you work 5 days a week that is already 10 hours a day. 50 hours a month, 600 hours a year. thats 25 days of traveling a year. where as if you live 15 minutes from where you work you would have time for the things that matters most. your wife and your baby.

but then again naa man condo baligya ang deca, tag 8k a month lang man daw good for 30 years. well if you want to live in a shoe box with a growing family, together with other people in a cramped environment then go to that route.

but if you want whats best for your family, rent in a quiet neighborhood where people know eachother, your kids will grow in a safe and secure environment. true you wont be able to keep the house, but you will have the security of having money living in a secured place. dili nga naghingal pa ka bayad sa imong amort, dayon gout pa jud kaayo ang imong lugar, layo pajud.

PS... Hi blossom miss you na.

I should say rent lang sa TS if dili pa kaya sa income. lisud ra ba ma trap ta nga sige na lang ta trabaho or di ta ka kita lain oppurtunity or company kay lagi naay bayranan...

if i were to be asked, i would prefer renting than buying. i won't even consider renting to own if the monthly payment would exceed my budget. it's more important to save. taking on credit would be the last thing you should do most especially since you are expecting a baby soon. you only need to rent a house which you believe would be sufficient enough for your family. save your excess money. you'll be needing them later.
