In my opinion, the choice of the speaker will the depend on the user itself. Every person has a different response to sound frequency. Others go for defined high frequency others are in for explosive low frequency.

If i were you, visit the computer shops, ask for a demo of their speakers and choose which one would provide you listening pleasure.

actually bro Ferl Â*I was also thinking of buying Altec 641 or an Altec Â*na 5.1 setup but sa altec man gud na 5.1 murag ubos pa gamay rms wattage mau nag try ko ug pangita ug lain until naa ko na sabahan ra sad Â*dri sa istorya.net sad na topic related to speakers before, naa man to mga options like altec, logitech, ozaki nuke, creative ug uban pa and also nag try ko search sa net about reviews.

Pero basin naa unya ka lain choice na mas nindot pa i share lng nya bro.

Don't worry everyone, I was just reading your comments and suggest, it's not that I post this and left..... since you are busy talking and suggesting, well it's not appropriate to interrupt. isn't it anyway thanks for the trouble you guys,,,, some suggest a high cost speakers which for me obviously can not afford it, I just want to have a speaker kanang ma dongog lang sa silingan and kanang bisag imong i full ang volume dili basag paminawon.....

lunar_eclipse, if you got the budget, get the logitech 5500. i bought three logitech z680's, one for my sis, another for my cuzn and third for a friend looking for a 5.1 set up. all i can say is ok kaayo ang z-680 with an 8" sub. while i havent auditioned the 5500, i'm sure they made it even better now its got a 10" sub. Check to see if the 5500 still has decoders for DD and DTS(the z680 does). If yes, nindot kaayo. Di lang pang computer pang HT pa(mura man alcohol commercial). Nice for movies too coz the sub of the z680's got real punch.

btw, forgot to include. that i didnt buy this logitech z680 for myself then because i'm not into
Sub-Sat systems. Also I didnt look into Altec Lansing at the time because the models available then didnt hold a candle to the z680. Besides wala na ko salig Altec. They got into trouble with the FCC for making false claims about the actual power output of their speaker systems.

i wouldn't just put down ATlec coz they hav some probz wit da FCC,..... i hav to admit Alec Lansing are pretty good,... i take that back,...... there real good speakers,.....

i had a Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers like 4 - 5 years ago,... (i 4got da model),.... but it was all black,... volume control was on top of one of the satellite speaker,.... i think da sub was 8",.... but it sounds like it was 10",.....
but yeah,.... they speakers were knockin',.... hella nice bass to,......
i dont think they sell those any more,... (does anybody know the model of that Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers that im talkin' bout)
