wait lang mo sa official announcement kay they have not signed yet the death certificate.
Ang cause man kaha ani according sa news "matinding pagbagsak sa kalsada" mao nang nagka pulmonary embolism.. maybe sobraan na cguro to ka kapoy cya or gi ataki ba sa heart, init pud baya ang panahon adto tyma, mao cguro nang natumba.

nope, its the other way around. dili na makuha ang pulmonary embolism sa "matinding pagbagsak sa kalsada". its like na clogged imong arteries sa lungs so wala na kay oxygen maadto sa imong vital organs leading to a cardiopulmonary arrest . its like nalumos ka and dili ka kaginhawa mao to medyo nalipong, then natumba. its an existing medical condition gyud.

gamay ra man kaayo ang samad sa head. also, the ambulance responded within 5 minutes but he died while on their way to chonghua. kung head trauma pa to, dili ingon ana kadali. i could describe more details but i dont think it is appropriate.

anyway, here is the official statement of Ironman Philippines just a while ago:

Official Statement from Sunrise Events, Inc:

Despite the resounding success of the recently concluded Ironman 70.3 event on Sunday, there was a fatality involving Ramon Igana, Jr, 44 years old, Cebuano and a relay participant on the bike segment.

The autopsy revealed that the cause of death was acute pulmonary embolism leading to his bike fall.

The entire Ironman community expresses its deepest sympathies to Ramon's family and loved ones.
