Tallo needs playing time. Walay confidence ang duwa ni tallo.
Tallo played a lot in the game that LA Revilla did not play due to LA's nagging ankle injury......the one where Macmac dribbled the time away until Lasalle could only throw up a desperation shot
It is the system. Macmac thrives in a system where he is the one controlling the ball, either making the shot or the assist that leads to the shot. That works in high school where talent gaps are more obvious. He would be a star on a lousy team in the UAAP. He has to learn how to set up an offense to be able to become a good PG on a contender.
Hopefully he learns quickly. He is already losing PT to other DLSU guards who are less gifted than him.
Dli talent kulang ni Tallo kung di heart duna man daga iya dughan ineg duwa mao nga katag kaayo wlay direction bsan ako coach e bangko jud nku oi.......
Great UAAP playdate yesterday. Played hooky and watched the games live. The Battle of Katipunan saw Ateneo beat UP 76-70 in come-from-behind fashion, as the Fighting Maroons failed to keep up their great play from the first half. UP was able to force Ateneo to take tough shots in the first 2 quarters (only Nico Salva was producing for the Loyola side) but sputtered in the 2nd half as Kiefer Ravena, Greg Slaughter, and Oping Sumalinog connived with Salva in snatching and eventually keeping the lead until the final buzzer.
The 2nd game between the FEU Tamaraws and the NU Bulldogs was actually a sleeper in the first half, as it was an all-FEU show orchestrated by Terrence Romeo who was shooting threes like they were freethrows. RR Garcia, said to be hobbled by an injury, was surprisingly quiet but they didn't miss him (yet). Ray Parks was shut down in the 1st half, held to something like 2 points on foul shots. The start of the 3rd quarter was more of the same story, causing some of the spectators to leave (myself included) believing that FEU had bagged the victory and would be 5-0 an hour from then. To my surprise, NU actually turned it around and won 61-57. Parks turned it on in the 2nd half (with a "little" help from the refs though...13 of his points were freethrows!!!) finishing with 17 points to lead the Bulldogs.
