stockings- to wear or not to wear?

i had a pedicure cause i'm planning to not wear stockings over sandals. It depends on what kind of shoes i plan to wear

why is it that stockings and sandals don't match? i've read a few threads in other sites about this.

It just doesn't go, its kind of baduy to wear stockings over sandals. Sandals look sexier on bare, clean and well-pedicured feet. However if you want to look fashionable, wear footless tights that stops at the ankles, then you look trendier that way with sandals. But not with stockings.

yeah, you do have a point with the legging and sandals looking better... kahit na tights n sandals, di rin bagay... i guess pag sandals you have too much feet being shown. summer na here... awww... less girls are gonna wear stockings na.. and madami na ang magsasabi na 'its too hot to waer..' sana naman they wear fishnets na lang.. kahit sa beach

^^ hi, yeah uso naman yan ngayon...leggings basta footless ha, dami akong nakikitang ganyan ngayon...that can go nicely with sandals and about fishnets, i saw them in nude colors like your skintone and different pattern nets. they're so cute too. wish only i am younger to wear them syiempre mas bagay lang yan sa mga younger generation. if i can get away with it, it has to be earthtones and has to coordinate with my clothes for that tone down effect, nothing flashy for office. For parties or evenings, maybe i can get away with wearing those eh kaso, during the day lang ako lumalabas baka pauwiin ako sa opis kung ganyan suot ko

yeah... i dont think fishnets, regardless of the color or style, would be appropriate for business attire. kahit na yung net pero floral ang design or fine hosiery pero may design di bagay. mukha kang secretary na hindi terno ang stockings sa suit n skirt... ah! if you wore sheen or stockings na may seam(yung parang tahi or long stitch that goes from the heel to the back of your bum) that would be so nice and classy! it wouldn't make you look like cheap... its a retro design though.

I do love footless tights or leggings basta cut up sa ankles lang. kinda... if i meet one na i can get along with... i'll call her wife na ummm.... it seems that hosiery is one piece of intimate clothing that pinays shy off from (dont want to wear)eh yun yung pinaka weakness ko sa babae... yung iba wear it out of necessite(trabaho) and ang result, di matching yung stoking nila sa complexion nila and they end up like a saleslady from SM... if worn corectly and with the right passion. it makes the legs oh so sexy, irresistabel, highlights her curves, and shows her sense of fashion and class... so far wala pa akong nakikita na girl na ganun

sorrowful_rice, scary ka pala wife agad? at dahilan sa stockings na yan? mainit kasi sa Pinas kaya di gaanong popular magsuot ng mga type mong stockings, hehehe ako rin, di ako gaanong fettish sa mga stockings. I do wear them out of necessity kasi dahil malamig pero kung trying to flirt my beau, sus ang dali nyan di na kailangan mag stockings pa ko there's tons of other ways, heheh just kidding u. i wear them from time to time... especially if i don't need a coat / jacket for my ensemble. keeps the cold away.

do you guys wear fishnet stockings to work? i've got a few of them man gud... di man pod xa bastos tan-awn... ambot lang. i'm not sure if i'd fit the corporate environment or i'd look like a hooker. hahaha...
