I have been to Vancouver quite a few times.
But I am not an artist, as you imply. I am not like the Vancouver guys Subang and SYMendoza. They are artists.

Diha sa VGH, naa koy amiga diha who jilted me years ago because I was just a Church mouse. Anyway, she is happily married now and have decided to settle permanently diha.
Makato-o gyod ko nga naa ka sa Vancouver. Kay didto ra ba sa Siquijor, dollar ang kwarta. Kon mosuroy ka sa Larena o bisan asang dapit sa Siquijor, imo man mabasa nga gipintal sa ilang koral ang mga ngan sa taga-abroad.
Na hala . . . magkita nya ta diha sa Vancouver kon makasuroy ko diha.

Let me be more specific. The fences belong to public places, such as elementary schools. To acknowledge the donors for the constrution of these fences, their names are painted on. If you check on these names --- such as when the curious part in me did exactly that --- I got the impression that most donor families have their siblings and/or close relations working abroad.
