SK is a good idea. but the problem is, is that these "youth leaders" is not getting any support from higher officials. im just speaking about our place. instead of learning about leadership and service at an early age, they are learning more about being lazy, and much more "corruption". The SK chairman in our town is doing nothing, just recieving his pay every month. "DAWAT LIMPYO" lang pirmi, and full of promises. and just like some here, he can't even organize a simple basketball tournament or a much simpler meeting for youth organizations. if thats the case, then whats thier function?

Now, is that what we call a "leader"? I think we need a little change here, im not saying we're going to abolish it. Because if these people are well trained, i think they can be a very valuable asset to our society.

i think its better to abolish the sk. in that way the government can minimize their expenses and officials can corrupt more money.

at least they are only corrupting money and not those young mind of our sk officials.

Agree ko nimu bro. As i've said before higher barangay officials should act as their mentors and facilitators to mold them and ready to face another challenge. I won't agree to dessolve SK on all barangay.

Pwede man gihapon mo-organize ug liga without SK. Just get a bunch of people, find a playing ground, and then "tuliscit" gamay. And that's it.

Dont blame the player blame the system and organizer.

i'm in favor of abolishing it.. SK here in our barangay has been the stepping stone for soon-to-be corrupt public officials..
