    very true! but then u also have to take into consideration that they only get to encounter english during middle school. and they are not that exposed much to english shows.

    english is considered a first language for us filipinos. we learn english from the moment we go to school and all of our textbooks except for filipino are in english.

    i suppose i can handle some of your queries about korean, esp. teaching
    i'm currently in Korea-- teaching ESL to about 400 high school students for over three years.
    i agree to what some of you have said in regards to teaching them. we'll teaching is as well teaching and helping us improve our Eng Lang Skills.

    no you dont.. it totally depends on your teaching skills and the company you are applying.. by the way im teaching koreans yet i dont have any education units.. i just have some good english thats all
