    it took me more than a year to get over a 5+ years relationship.. pero until now, i still can't say that i'm COMPLETELY over him. pero at least dba... i'm getting there and i hope he is too

    My last BF, I think about 3 months, the pain was less intense. But when I stopped thinking of him altogether, it was a year or close to it. It really depends how deeply you were involved. It is worse when you lived in the same place. Visiting places that you used to visit will make the recovery process longer. I find that moving somewhere new will hasten the process.

    7 months ra ang relasyon nya 2 year usa naka move on? binoang na... in general, depende ra jud na sa tawo kung unsa klase. naa man uban dali ra makalimot kay busy sa trabaho nya hilig ug laag2x ug barkada. naa pud uban dugay labina wala kaayo silay maka istorya ug ma lingaw-lingwan sa ilang kaugalingon...

    Also if the rejected/dumped person has dependent personality, he/she will find it hard to move on.

    i guess moving on is a choice. yes, you may tend to still think about the person and miss him/her but you will not let this hinder your life in general. not moving on means, u dont want to give others a chance to make you happy and you are not letting yourself be happy too. not moving on means you cant function freely without this one person in your life but still thinking about that person doesnt necessarily mean you havent moved on. you have to accept the fact that the relationship didnt work and at least you tried but then life goes on
