I think this is just discrimination against Muslims. And the stories here about how some of you don't trust Muslims reminds me of a story that my professor shared.

My teacher is a Catholic, pero naa sad siya interest sa Muslim culture.

I have nothing against Islam or Christianity. You discriminate Muslims a lot, pero what about the practices of Christians?

I mean, we have the issue with the PCSO bishops, but have you heard of any issue with "PCSO Muslim priests"?

Catholicism should be criticized for what it did before, and it has been extensively criticized over the centuries for what it did and what failed to do. It's the same for all religion and for all institution. No one should be immune from rational criticism. To say "Don't Judge" is pure cowardice. Islam has been the cause of much death and repression. It should rightly be criticized for that and unless Muslims purge their holy text of the mandates to kill their enemies and oppress by means of the Sharia, then such criticism should definitely be continued.

If you're truly open-minded then you should also be open to considering criticism leveled against the religion you're defending, selective ang imong pagka-openminded. Being open-minded means being open to reason, and it's definitely not rational for you to ignore criticism in the name of "open-mindedness" and political correctness. Criticism is what makes civilization work.

Ironically, the very religion you're defending doesnt even encourage open-mindedness. Kabalo ka unsa punishment in Islam for openminded muslims who decide to leave Islam and try another religion? DEATH. If these muslims are openminded why can't they respond like any civilized people would, that is, why can't they simply make a rebuttal or a counter-criticism, nganong mu-issue man dayun ug mga fatwas and death threats? ^_^

I'm not overly fond of the Catholic clergy, hypocritical pud ni sila usahay. But if you criticize, them they'll simply defend themselves verbally and criticize you back, they're not gonna call upon their followers to chop your head off.
