and the true suspects? natog og malinawon! money and power can change everything!
.i watched the movie the other day at sm and for me the story tells us the kind of injustice we have in our country. Just imagine, kon mahimo ni nila sa mga kwartahan nga mga tao like nila aznar, yu ug mga osmena how much more sa mga pobre. Kon naay grabe nga kremin mahitabo pik up kay pik up lang sila aron lang gyud ingon nga dali ra na solve ang kaso. Pagkalouy sa mataymingan! At first i really hated those convicted innocent people but after i watched the movie, naka ingon jud ko nga dili jud maau nga mo judge ta dritso. Why not try to investigate the other angle of the case? Like what leo lastimosa said that a week b4 the disappearance of the chiong sisters the father is scheduled to witness against the known druglord. I think lot of big fish involve this case.
id like to watch this.. very interesting topic.
hmmm..na intriga ko ani dah..nahan ko mo watch ani...naa ba ni sa tanang sm malls??
kita ko ani gahapon. i personally know some of them. for me naa jud problem ang paghandle sa case. di sad ko mo ingon inosente or guilty sila. pero base sa paghandle sa case regardless of whether they did it or not wala enough evidence. for me expected biased ang movie kay relative bya naghimo. it would have been better if they also presented the unsa ang alibi sa other accused. kay if ing-ana kalig-on ang defense ni Paco same unta sad sa tanan and para fair sad makahibaw ta unsa ang alibi sa uban. they should have been interviewed sad but wala bisan si aznar nalang. nice sad ba ila side mahibaw-an kaysa ka paco lang.
kontrabida kaayo ila pag show sa mga chiong sa movie. fair lang unta sad pag pakita pero masabtan rasad ngano.
basta ako masulti... dako kaayo question mark ang kaso.
Saw the movie. Well made and presented, except for maybe the snippet at the end that made Mrs. Chiong look bad.
I was discussing with others, people I hang out with now but did not then (during the time of the case). Chismis pero.....Interesting tidbits about the Cebu politics/community in general that affect how these boys were randomly picked up. A lot of well off families were apparently approached during that time and their kids would suddenly be "inve$tigated".
I saw the movie. It sure tells it from the side of Paco. But there is footage of Thelma Chiong, which no matter what context, seems disturbing.
1. Thelma Chiong being friendly to the people in the Regional Trail Court. She walks into the office and mentions Paco's pending transfer to a prison in Spain. She tells them she opposes it and then sees the judge and tells him "judge ikaw na ang bahala ana." It just shows she is very close to the court. Normally, when there is a case, lawyers are the ones who file the arguments in writing and the judge decides on that motion. Here, she is the one who walks into the court room and is in a jolly mood and personally tells the judge "ikaw na ang bahala" with smiles.
2. Thelma Chiong giving presents to the only person in the case who admitted to playing a part of the murder and rape of her daughters, Davidson Rusia. All throughout the case, the accused maintained their innocence. Then one guy, Davidson Rusia, surfaced out of nowhere and claimed to be a "state witness." He was the only one who admitted in open court to be part of the dastardly deed. Yet, the mother of the victims gives gifts to him? This is really odd and disturbing. How can a mother give gifts to someone who admitted to killing and raping her daughters? Did the rest of the accused in jail receive gifts from her?
3. Thelma Chiong laughing out loud and saying she will "kill" Paco if he comes back from his prison in Spain. No matter the context, whether jokingly said or not, it is still disturbing to see someone laugh that way in front of the camera and make that threat.
The rest of the movie can be likened to an infomercial proclaiming Paco's innocence (and a convincing one at that). Thelma Chiong can accuse people of bias, and for it being one-sided. Sure that can be all true.
But the most disturbing scenes for me are the ones she herself is a part of.
naa namoy link sa fullmovie ani?
thanks
agree that the interview of mrs. chiong during the last part of the movie was very surreal and disturbing...
