yep, you can go up or sideways.
Some positions have pay increase just by getting certified, and there are alot of positions that you can shift to. But most companies you need to start as an agent, because the promotions are given to internal employees unless there are none qualified in the pool.
does that still follow if you transfer to another call center? kinhanglan entry level gihapon ka sa call center nga imo gibalhinan?
sorry, dili man gud ko taga call center. i'm trying to learn what it is like to work in such an environment.
>when it comes to 'corporate ladder',yes, there are lot of slot opportunities(you can be a teamlead,a floorwalker,or QA),but as what they all say, there is no job security.we are not paid for the length of stay in the Center, more in job performance----that's what i hear from the tenure agents here.
Some centers require that youre tenured for promotion but some demand performance. I prefer the performance, kay makita jud nga dapat ma promote ang tao.
Well naa may annual increase kung basehan sa stay hehehe
jorman: Sad story for you. I'm working in a call center but, fortunately, I never had to experience the same predicament as you have. Ergo, in my standpoint, it does not make you dumb...or worse. Only fatter.
I think I have an idea in which call center you're working in.![]()
وليس هناك كعكه ، والكعكه هو كذبة.
Well, if you're not working in line with your experience, or educational background, it will make you dumber in relation to what I stated.
Example, if you're a nurse or an engineer, then you are working in a callcenter selling tupperwares and providing travel assistance.... it will diminish your knowledge and skil as a professionall..
But as a call center agent, it will make you more knowledgeable in handling people whether in selling tupperwares or providing technical assistance to dumb americans...
Then again, which is better... getting wiser with a small salary, or becoming as dumb as Homer Simpson and earn good amount of money...![]()
nope.. you'll get smarter here... tech support rocks
