Bake him a cake- if your friend knows how ! Even if it's not the best-tasting cake in town- it's the thought that counts !
I disagree, he cannot have everything, no earthly being does.
Most likely he is content with his life and lifestyle, but everyday brings new experiences.
In other words can he possibly already have a "future" memory of you? Give him a wonderful "new" memory of you.
