In Japan trees like this are given importance...kung kinsa tong pinakaduol na house sa tree nga mark as national treasures/heritage will be given monthly an amount enough for them to take care that particular tree like fertilizer etc..murag 10k man tingale..

I think the reason why the haste of cutting the Trees? MONEY! Beautiful and huge trees .. can bring millions to corrupt DPWH and maybe, DENR! Shame on these guys!

i don't get it...why spend millions is they just want to have these lovely tress cut? if they're gonna spend millions on these trees, then they bettter move them to a better spot rather than having the easy way, which is to cut them...

they should think hard before cutting those trees, progress should compliment with our natural resources. it's really easy to decide on cutting those trees, especially when doing so they would receive a big amount of MONEY!
mayta maka think sad ang government officials in that place where the trees is located like the mayors, congressman and the governor to save those trees, if they really do love CEBU or they would rather choose the big sum of MONEY na ma receive nila!haist

Sayang kaayo kung putlon ang mga puno-an. The government should exhaust all means to save those trees before resolving to cutting them.

The best solution is e.padayon ang road widening pero ampingan og balhin ang mga trees then itanom sa laing lugar....

WHAT?!?!?! Those trees are old but they help define the South. Stupid stupid stupid people. Progress doesn't just mean wider streets.
