Pension is only meant to support the pensioner, not the entire family. I don't think they expect people living on a pension to be starting a new family at this late stage. It was your decision to do this, so you should be figuring out a way to make it work.

    mao gyud unta na ang sakto gyud.. pero sa ilang situation lisod na oi..

    pila ra pod kaha kita sa wife kung patrabahuon.. nya mao na musupport sa ilang advocacy sa pag tabang sa mga pobre nga bata..

    That's understandable and is a noble cause, however the pension (no matter what country you live in) is meant to support only the retiree and is not meant to support an entire barangay. TS wants to help people, but he is not Bill Gates, only a pensioner whose main source of income is as a beneficiary of the Australian government, and should follow their rules.

    There's no doubt that a lot of people here need help, but that's the job of our government, not foreigners living off a meager pension.

    Kung motrabaho ang iyang asawa sa Australia, dako dako pud ang kuwarta oie.. dako baya silag suweldo didto, imbis sa McDo lang siya motrabaho. Ang problema lang sa mga babaye diri nga mangita og tigulang puti, kasagaran di jud na ganahan motrabaho, kontento lang na sila nga magpasupporta sa ilahang bana. This is a generalization I know, but it is true in 90% of the case.. kai kung kogehan pa ning asawa niya, moadto jud na sa Australia arun maka suweldo og dako instead of just relying on the sole income of her husband.

    well, the ideas here are great, the advices and everything.. but it's really easier said than done..

    we don't know their situation, all advices here are basically based on presumptions..

    and being abroad? i have been to almost all the corners of the world (algeria - USA- EU..etc)

    believe me, it's not like your fairy princess fantasy world.

    all i can say is "there's no place like home"
