regarding the Schutzhund; join us sa cv-gsda(central visayas - german shepherd dog association).
we meet every sunday, 7-11am at the club house of north town homes. though this sunday til 2nd sunday of nov our training is focused on the landesgruppen and sieger show, hence one will be held here in cebu this third week of november and the sieger will be on the end of nov in manila.

after that resume ang schutz training.
dont be intimidated by the org's name; ALL working dog breeds are welcome as long as you think it would BITE and protect. training is FREE, however the membership in the organization is P600. pwede man sad apil lang ka train and not being a member.

@ GUILLIAM ... sir amigo diay mo ni JUNMAN77 ? Anyways naka hisgut siya about niom nako . BTW ... sakto ka sir , as long as LIVEABLE pod ang CAGE , there is no problem with that . Liveable means , ample space , clean , sanitized and fed follwing a routine to include dog walks and playtime of around 5 to 10 minutes .

Regarding sa SCHUTZHUND , naa ka information mahatag diri regarding ana na training in Cebu ? I am planning for my DObie after advance training , mag level 1 siya sa SCHUTZHUND .

btw.. reminds me. jun has three dobies at home; he might be interested to post on this thread and share his experience.

this sunday(nov 2, 200 wala training sa northtown homes. naa ang group sa residence ni mr. muego, class room type seminar mi. watch video's on training schutz.

Is SHCUTZHUND supposed to be after the ADVANCED TRAINING of a WORKING DOG ? Mura bitaw ug tao ... you cant jump to college unless you graduated High School .

Ingon ana ba ang set-up and format ninyo sa Northtown bai ? Murag lisod man na kay once a week ra magka meet .

you got it right, schutzhund comes after advance training. even on schutz they also have levels.
yes once a week ra, but the purpose actually is to train the "owner" not exactly the dog.

i think the dog has to pass basic and advance obedience training sir spring... i know someone who tried to jump to schutzhund training, and the dog only knows basic obedience.. lisud gyd siya and medyo delikado pud. ^^
btw, question for dobie enthusiasts.. (im not saying bati ang ear cropping ha...) pero besides beauty,unsay lain benefit sa ear cropping?
basta for me, i dont like ear cropping, not because of animal cruelty, in which, pwede ra man na anesthetic.. but because, para nako, mas mabasa nako ang body language sa dog. ^^

add lang ko ani schutzhund ha,coz ive been working abroad before in those countries (EU) where schutzhund is very popular.daghan man ang category sa schutzhund,naay begleitung,schutzdienst,schutzhunde-sport,schutzeinsatz,etc.what i mean is muagi ra gihapon na sila ug basic obedience training tanan na dog then schutzhund.my point is from dackel or dachshund to golden retriever to st. bernard pwede ma schutzhund or protection dog but lahi2x lang nga part ilaha.golden ret and labradors pwede ma schutzbegleitung,mao na kana sa mga buta or blind para mo guide.st. berns schutzeinsatz,for the mountain rescue esp. skiing resort.so tanan dog muagi gyud na sila ug BASIC OBEDIENCE training then schutzhund ausbildung or what the professionals here in RP called protection dog training.

mao ni kana makit-an na sign sa Schutzhund Schule or Hundeausbildung = Protection Dog Training or Dog Training:

1st) Begleithunde or Companion Dog training: (BgH-A, BgH-1, BgH-2) mao na ang first 3 steps
- the dog learns basic obedience and becomes a well-behaved and reliable partner.
2nd) Gehorsamsausbildung or Obedience training: (GH-1, GH-2, GH-3) <---- 3 steps
- this subordination courses are the elite obedience training
3rd) Fährtenhundeausbildung or Tracking Dog Training: (FH-1, FH-2, FH-3)
4th) Schutzhundeausbildung or Protection dog training: (SchH-1, SchH-2, SchH-3) <----- In this form of training, the protection areas, track and subordination are equivalent.
5th) Rettungshundeausbildung or Rescue Dog Training <------ mao ni ang pinakataas nga training
