"New"? Ophiuchus (the constellation) has been around for ages.

It only goes to show how you Zodiac believers have been bamboozled for ages as well.

"New" daw? What a big joke. Ophiuchus (the constellation) has been around for ages.

It only goes to show how you Zodiac believers have been bamboozled for ages as well.

    Gullibility *shakes head*

New ZODIAC SIGN. Yes, it's been in the sky for ages as a CONSTELLATION, but it's not included in the system of 12 zodiac signs that the sun passes throughout the year.

Now, because of the change in the position of the Earth, the moon and the sun's relation, the sun already passes through Ophiuchus, which makes it part of the Zodiac sign.

The sun has been passing over Ophiuchus since ancient times, not only recently. Let me fire up my Stellarium and post images here to show you.

    No need. Thanks anyway.

The point here is it is NEWLY ADDED to the Zodiac signs (The 12 signs that we know of). Get it? Even if it was in the Zodiac for 1000s of years, it is only NOW that it is added to the original 12 we commonly know.

I know there are more constellations that the sun passes through, but the fact that it is now added to the 12 signs, that's what makes it a NEW sign, the 13th sign added to your daily horoscope column in your daily newspaper.

But on who's authority? The church? The international association of Zodiac lovers? Or perhaps "The International Society for the Preservation of the Zodiac Because It's Much More Fun and Interesting than Scientific Findings in Astronomy"? This only goes to show how ridiculous it is that people cling to superstition that is baseless and just plain irrational.

Well, I don't know who. I'm not the article writer. I just shared the news here.

Anyway, feel free to change the thread title if you find it not new.

As for me, it's new because it was added to the 12 Zodiac signs, and I don't really care about the Western Zodiac, they could make it 20 and still it won't change how I drive my life.

Let's just watch TV Patrol later on and ask Kuya Kim and find out more about it.
