    guys,. update ko sa ako thread, its been 9months since my operation sa ako knee,. we had MRI before operation to make sure unsa gyud ang problem coz if x-ray ang inyu i pa lab dili na makita ang ligaments, cartilage and uban pa dili same sa MRI, mri now cost about 8-9k sa perpetual, niya 12k sa chonghua if i'm not mistaken, then we went to my ortho doc. miguel go and he said my problem is not so bone but sa ako ligament, then he referred us to Doc. San juan who specialized in sports injuries and an expert in this kind of problems sa mga joints and ligaments,. (medyo maayu gyud ni siya niya only 1 in cebu who do surgery in this kind of injuries) i think naa siya g tudlo nga lain nga doctor rn who is following he's footsteps sa ani nga field ,. niya going back sa topic, ingun si doc. san juan ACL tear gyud ang nahitabo sa ako left knee mao luag and unstable ako feeling, kay ACL is responsible daw to hold the joints and to make it stable, he gave me two options which is no operations pero change in lifestyle na gyud ko or surgery pero i could have great chance to play again. kaluoy sa lord na g pa operahan ko sa akung parents sa chonghua and to some up everything it cost almost 200k (out patient - meaning, wala ko ga room before surgery, diritso ko surgery pag adto nako chonghua to save expenses, ingun si doc ok raman daw kay taas ako resistance sa pain) sa tanan apil nana sa rehab after surgery kay rehab cost 450 pesos per session sa perpetual (nindot ang ambiance didto kaysa chonghua) niya i nee to have 3 sessions per week for 3 months. hehe. after surgery nag brace ako knee for 1 month and ga crutches ko for 2 weeks pero ga crutches ra ko for 5 days kay ako g paning kamot na maka lakaw gyud ko. anyway back sa topic, during sa surgery my bp shootup to 170 so nag problema si doc what happened kay i'm only 19 niya athlete pa jud nganu na ingun ato ko so instead OPD(out patient) rako, g admit na hinuon ko after surgery to work up sa akung heart and cardio. na admit ko for 1 day then ni uli and nag bed rest ko for 1 week kay d ko maka breath if mu barog ko,. so mga 1 month ko wala naka rehab which they said lisud na daw na i bend if d gyud marehab, pero during those days sa house ako2x ra ga rehab sa self with the help sa braces and when i started my rehab sa perpetual na shock sila na 1 month ko ga start ug rehab niya mas na shock sila na mas nindot ako improvement sa pag bend sa ako knee kaysa sa mga ga rehab dayun. ^_^ did my rehab sessions niya started jogging after 5 months then jumping and running for 6 months, played soccer pag 7 month ^_^ so happy naka play ko blk pero lahi gyud ang feeling nga scared na ka mo move kay hadlok ka ma balik ang injury.
    doc san juan is a very good at this field nga linyahan gyud na siya didto cyber gate sa cebu orthopedic 4th floor. mag pa appointment lang ka daan kay grabe gyud ang tao mag pa appoint niya didto. so good luck guys ^_^ happy ACL reconstruction

    doc san juan taught me tips sa pag strengthen sa ako thigh muscles pero lisud i explain, hahaha also naa ko knowledge sa rehab gamay to strengthen sa knee. i'll explain when i have time. ^_^ youtube videos are also good pero choose the most reliable one kay naay uban mag pa sagad lang,.. if naa mo questions or unsa just comment and ask me i'll try to answer your questions sa makaya nako. hahaha

    you need to do STRETCHING exercises before playing or doing strenuous activities, its a must to help prevent injuries.

    Swerte kai ka sir kai naulian gyud ka. Its not easy if you cant play your sport because that's what makes you who you are. Mahala sad anang 200k bayranan sa surgery ui. Pero para nako dili na expensive basta physically fit lang ka and you enjoy every second of your game time.

    Im currently on a knee injury. It has been 13 months already, but I decided not to play lang sa 6 months ago.
    Gipa X-ray ni ako mga tuhod last month pero ok ra man ako bones. Murag wala gyud ni sa bones ang sakit.

    Aside sa surgery sir, naai gi recommend si Doc San Juan na mga supplements?
    Panghatag tips sir be on how to exercise daily without jogging kai naglikay sad ko ana.
    Darn, Im getting fat for the first time! hehe

    hey bro! its been more than a year na since sa ako surgery and i'm doing pretty well and full play na gyud ko rn, pero naa lang gyud nang fear sa pain nga mahitabo balk, mao na g ingun nila once makatilaw kag sakit mag duha2x naka sunod. pero still i try to train myself and do the things nga g tudlo sa rehab nako.

    so imu problem bro, xray will not help if nahan ka makita if naa ba gyud problem sa imu knee, daghan possible pwd mahitabo sa imu knee, pwd and patella, cartilage, ACL ug uban pa, just wanna ask bro what sport you play? usually ACL and cartilage problem gyud na sa mga pareho natung sporty. we could not really really tell bro what's causing sa problem sa imu knee unless imu gyud na ipa MRI and ipa check sa doctor then you will know what to do sa imu knee. mahal2x jd ang MRI pero at least makibaw ka kung na unsa jd imu knee rather than mag pa taka tag tag.an niya masamutan na hinuon.

    supplement? wala man bro and i think supplements or vitamins will not help, base sa ako understanding if cartilage tear na dili na gyud na mu heal blk, unless mag pa Stem cell kas germany which proven gyud sa ako kaila na insik, nag pa stemcell siya kay ACL tear and cartilage tear ang nahitabo sa iya knee, more than 4 months duwa na siya blk and ni blk gyud ug heal iya knee, he even went sa CEBU orthopedics here niya g challenge iya knee sa mga doctors before and after the stemcell shocked ang mga doctors nga ni work jd. pero sobra panas 200k hahahaha.

    for now bro have a MRI checkup sa imu knee then go to doctor san juan sa cybergate. dont do sa mga unsa nga exercise bsg jogging kay wala ta kbw basn imu rana g samutan. after sa MRI and checkup from there you will know what to do sa imu knee.
    ang ako ato kay grabe naman gyud ang injury sa ako knee kay for 3 years ako g pugos ug exercise, 2 options ra gyud g hatag sa doctor nako, surgery if i want to keep playing or change of lifestyle na gyud ko.

    ana gyud na bro, hahaha ako gani after sa surgery for 5 months ni gain kog almost 30 pounds, hahaha

    asa ka nagpaMRI bro? tigum pa ko para MRI. Pagkaninduta sa feeling nako ganina nag jogging ui, nindut na kaayu i badminton balik.

    After sa surgery hantod karon bro, unsa imung na experience na bad sa imung knee? ug pila ka days nawala ang sakit?
