in some point sakto ka, in some point pud sakto ko. theoretically kung the same ang socket og the same ang speed ang masdako og cache mao jud to ang modaog, dili ba? pro when it comes to "GAMING" lahi na.
i know all most all of you here wants to put a bigger cache on your rig for performance purposes pra sa inyong mga latest nga dula. using xeon as your processor is a wrong move.

xeon performs best on background processing.

hahay... ana nalng. base nalng sa nga tao nga mag perform og overclocking do they use xeon? i dont think so.

    ngita ka proof:

why do server computer uses xeon not i cores?
why do gamers abroad uses icores not xeon?

base man gud ka sa theory. mas dako cache mas nindot.ang xeon bro background processing rana nindot. meaning kung walay interruption iyang processes mas nindot. pro kong magduwa unya cge ka input og data like keyboard input og mouse input og uban pang interrups dha lahi na ang storya ana.

wala ko proof. pro lets hear it from those people nga naka palit sa imong xeon kung unsa ila ma sulti. no offence sa imong xeon.

pildi ang maglagot. wala man ko manulong away kalma lang gud.

i did some research and i'am wrong, dili diay maka lupig ang core2duo sa xeon nga quad core having
12mb of cache but an i5 having ang 8mb of cache. my bad.

nevertheless its still an 8mb of cache against 12mb from xeon.

kinsay ga-away nimo bro...wala koi labot ha...kamo ra na ni clamshell...namaligya raman ko...i leave it to the buyer man that he knows what he is buying....

    regarding aning imong statement nga:

" i did some research and i'am wrong, dili diay maka lupig ang core2duo sa xeon nga quad core having

PLS. don't compare a LGA775 Xeon with an i5...THEY HAVE DIFFERENT ARCHITECTURE...

i suggest that you go to Home - AnandTech :: Your Source for Hardware Analysis and News...read the benchies...you will learn so many things there...

    PEACE...
