you know... I was researching on juicing because I was doing a script for an informercial na juicer and i also tried it for a week as part of the research. Turns out juicing might even be harmful for you if it isn't done properly and with medical supervision. Consider this. You've had absolutely nothing to eat except fruit and veg juices. what that does is raise your blood sugar level thru the roof. I've encountered a lot of medical journals discouraging it if you have diabetes. Because most fruits (esp. fruits) and some veggies have high levels of fructose, a type of sugar. so you feel better at first then very weak later so you tend to drink more of it. And unless you are taking suppliments like protein and etc to make up for what you're not taking in than it might be harmful in the long term. Also, whatever weight you lose in the process will most likely be gained. That's why most of my vegetarian friends say you ease your body into that lifestyle (vegetarianism) by slowly incorporating it and take supplements not just jumpt into it because it takes your body time to adjust to it.Originally Posted by aleyson

i for one don't believe in jucing or any fad as a sustainable weight-loss program. Yes it good for clensing but not weight loss. Any diet/plan that severely restricts you on any particular food is damaging since most people can never live with them in the long run so you end up gaining more weight because you can't mentain it and you feel deprived. i think i agree with Oprah when she said that weightloss and keeping it is about lifestyle change and commitment... and as someone pointed out discipline. Believe me I've tried everything from Southbeach to Zone to Atkins. My last was atkins and i tell you, severe deprivation of carbos (rice, pasta, and bread) really makes you very cranky...LOL

exercise man jud tingali ang ato kinahanglan oi...the more we eat, the more exercise we should try to put in...the more hours we should try to be active...the less we eat, the less exercise is needed....the thing with us is we want those fast-slimming solutions which in the end will never turn out well cause we all gain back the weight we lost with all those shortcut solutions ....
pag BADMINTON na lang mo...kakita jud ko sa amo club nidaut jud sya nga purti niyang LOBOha sa una og size...hehe
naa koy two friends more than slightly obese sila.. and now they are very slender na.. ang usa kay fruit diet and the other one ky no rice diet
really...pero d na mahimo kanunay juice oi....exercise lang drink pud fitrum dats wat i did! hehehehe
dili man kanunay...its just for 3-5 days. after that you eat healthier and work out to maintain the weight. i guess the thing with people is, they can't get rid of eating fatty foods. if you actually want to lose weight you would stop eating fatty foods. then you wouldn't have to go through a juice fast.
