The camera world DOES NOT revolve around Canon & Nikon only...
You should also try other systems like Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Samsung, Leica, Sony. These brands are although not common, but their also hard to beat in terms of features and price.
Olympus E520, E620, E30
Panasonic GH1, GF1, G1
Pentax Kx, K7
Samsung GX10
Leica M8, M9
Sony Alpha A380
Oh yes it does. Heheheh. Joke.
Pero seriously, I still suggest the D90 or 550D. Pero I lean more towards the 550D kay more features. I stretch nlng ang imo budget gamay para way mahay. I bought a 500D and ok ra cya for now. Pero I feel that this is going to limit the type of shots I take. Pero I work around it using post processing. So I guess I'm fine. But I'm already thinking of getting a 7D later. D pa lng ko kaafford.
yep, pero most users man gud buy brands that most of his/her kaila has... so if imong amigo kay nikon... nikon pud ka kay para makahulam sa lens... then if canon imong friends... canon pud ka... and pwede pud ka makig friend sa nikon kay naa may lens adapter (nikon lens to canon mount) :P
I think Leica M8 & M9's are not "cheap" compared to other SLRs... Pentax and Olympus nuon.
double post, sorry

...matod pa sa usa ka thread, regardless of budget and skill, dretso palit ug D700 and 35mm ƒ/2 and 85mm ƒ/1.8.
