I actually find DHL to be the best of the international couriers. I have no experience of using them for local transportation, but so far I have shipped around 20 times without significant problems. One time I tried to use their main (Manila) helpline to track an item which was a waste of time because they wouldn't do anything without waybill #. I phoned the Mandaue depot and got the info I needed within a couple of minutes.
