The body can eventually adapt to a graveyard shift but it doesn't mean you will be free from negative effects, unless you can totally reverse your circadian rhythm. If one will keep changing his rhythm, there lies the problem, eventually the body needs to sacrifice itself to accomodate the frequent changes in maintenance schedule. Remember, sleep = maintenance, tune up, recharge period.

VITAMINS C-like ascrobic acid etc ...nga mga vitamins + sleep = healthy life wla pai labot ang gatas...waaa

Many commercialize vitamins are worth nothing to the body. Mostly, you're just going to piss them away. Get your vitamins through foods, not relying on synthetic commercialized vitamins.

for 3 years , mga 70% of the time, GY shift ko permi. lahi ra jud nuon ang quality sa sleep . still I manage to run sa abellana after work. mga 4am toa nako sa abellana ga jogging. then I also join funruns .
my point is , bisag unsa imong sked basta determinado ka to stay fit and healthy, makaya man japun. challenging lang jud.

But don't take my word for it. I'm not a doctor. Hehe. =D
I guess in the future it'll show one way or another. Labina kung 30s na kuno; mang-gawas ang effects.

@ _spectre yes sakto ka. kapoy jud kaayo hunahunaon magjogging after gy shift , but once nakasugod na ug tunob imong tiil sa tracks sa abellana mawa naman imong kapoy dayun. u just have to convince urself to be there, then tuloy-tuloy na na. KURSONADA lang jud.

ang usa sa benefits sa jogging after work , as i discovered on my experience, is ma wash-out imong gipang inom nga coffee sa work. naa man gud times na u need to drink coffee pawa sa duka. problem is imong sleep pud sa balay, after sa coffee session, kay putol putol or lisud na balik tog if makamata ka.

but jogging helps solve that for me.

Constantly changing sleeping schedules results in elevated stress hormones. Suppressing sleep with coffee can help you stay awake, but you're still doing damage to your body. The natural damage cause by friction inside your body, like the passing of blood through your blood vessels, is repaired daily through sleep. During sleep, the brain is at its most active state, since there is decrease energy requirement from other organs, redirects all bodily processes towards body repair. That is the reason why you feel REFRESHED after a restful sleep but you feel Drained after a not-so restful sleep.
